Got to be honest guys, ive just come across these vids for ideas as my mate and I are planning Normandy this year if we can, they are the best videos out there, you have really added emotion and thought to these videos rather than, thats beautiful which is what a lot of bike vids are (nothing wrong with that) but Im only on Vid 4 cant wait toi watcht e rest, they are like mini films, the way you have added clips from history is just amazing... it really adds to the emotion and thought... well done guys well done
Wow thank you for the comments. We really tried to make a different version of a Normandy tour as you said most are the same and we felt it really deserved full respect and something special. It honestly blew us away it was such an experience, we plan if all goes well to return July this year as we missed the Canadian beaches. Please feel free to share the video as we think it captures Normandy perfectly. Keep safe and keep us updated if you do manage to go 🏍❤️🤘🏻
Cracking video that. Graignes was both interesting and sad to hear about. We visited Oradour-sur-Glane on our French trip where the Nazis massacred 643 civilians and destroyed the buildings. It still stands as it was left as a memorial. Hard to read about it when you're actually stood on the site where it happened isn't it. Very nice touch Alby, respect sir👍
That place is crazy spooky and a retaliation from a supposed resistance attack and they was ordered to back to normandy for the day landings. the stories and sights from it is a killer
vous visitez des lieux que je n ai jamais vu de ma vie et pourtant j habite le nord de france je pense que mon vfr et moi allons y faire un tour l année prochaine je vais tout finir les episodes ce soir encore merci craig et bravo continuez please
This was amazing I was watching this with my brother inlaw because he is a paratrooper down Colchester he has bin to them pleases with his mates big thumbs up 👍
As an x airborne soldier and a biker I really enjoyed watching your tour , I know you must have put a a lot of time into editing these uploads ‘ I found them entertaining and at times touching. I appreciate all the work you’ve put into these videos . A big THANKS . Best regards to all
Stuart Crothall WOW thank you for the comments, and for the service you put in for your country. I didn’t want the tour to be just about us on the bikes, the story and memories of Normandy are far greater than us on bikes so I wanted to make sure the stories got told. There’s still about another 4 episodes to come, thanks again for sparing the time to sit and watch ❤️🤘🏻
An amazing tour vlog and a truly emotional tribute to those that fell for us. Thanks Craig and all the motourevers involved for producing this. Really appreciate the time and effort you all put in. Slowly getting through them all. Ride safe guys.
Brilliant video, I have been going to Normandy D Day beaches etc for 30 years and watched this like i have never been before..I must go over on my motorbike..Well done..
Wobbly Brother 😂 it was the perfect tour with enough history to be able to do this, really enjoying making something different that pushes my editing skills, this episode took 31 hours to put together but we are proud of the end result and hope it captures the viewers imagination
Have to say you paid good respect to the veterans and all who fought and lost in life. It was nice to see many places and roads i have travelled in the Area, was due to be there when you where there but covid stopped that. I was to stop on the way back from the alps i stay near pont du hoc. My father was on the first wave of landing craft to land on Juno Beach he was a gunner in the Navy he lived till 95 in 2017 I scattered his ashes on the beach, so at least you took me there this year many thanks. Robert
RMG wow what an amazing story, respect to your dad and we hope we honoured them properly, obviously there are still more episodes to come when we visited the beaches. Thanks for your support and sharing your story ❤️🤘🏻
John Proctor wow 😮 thanks John, that means a lot. That’s exactly what I tried to capture was the messing about and banter whilst on the bikes then in a split second when we arrive at a memorial the mood changed instantly to respect , I hope the video captured to two different atmospheres
You would never think by looking at that quiet little village that so many horrible things went on in the past. Very sad that many generations were lost.
I have done a couple of Normandy trips and always enjoyed. My wife and I also did Orador sur Glane that she found to emotional and had to leave , On another trip we did the Flanders Field museum in Ypre Belgium and I found that to be so very moving as was the the Last Post ceremony at The Menin Gate well worth visiting. Great video really enjoyed it.
@@Motourev Top tip, there is a great little hotel at Limoges airport which also has a great restaurant. The airport closes for air traffic early evening so a good nights sleep.
WOW what another great video your editing skills are amazing, the mini clip inside the blue memorial well just brilliant, congratulations on an amazing watch.
From what I’ve read John Steele got caught up on the other side of the Steeple but they moved the monument to the other side so it was more visible to people visiting the square. Love this series! I’ve been looking for a good video of a Normandy bike trip for ages..thanks for making these videos! Cracking trip! I love D Day history!
Amazing video mate. Well done to all of you. This has inspired me to go to Arnhem because that's one of many places my Granddad went to during WW2. Luckily for him, he missed out on D-day even though he trained for it. Oddly enough he trained less than 1 mile away from where I live in Devon and none of my family live in Devon apart from me. I didn't find out until I saw the photos at his funeral.
Unfortunately they're a legal requirement in France, and have to be too hand which means they can't be in the top box so it was easier just to wear them. Actually it was so we didn't get lost and have to get our mummies to come and get us 🤣🤣
Very moving video . I have toured the area myself some time ago and given I haven't seen several of the monuments you visited when this blasted virus allows I need to get back over there. I cannot give you any higher compliment than other to say this video is up there with Richy's high standard. 😉
Mr B agree mate, the most passionate yet most vile species capable of such horror to walk this planet, proud of the men that fought for our freedom but ashamed of what we can do to one another for greed, power, ego and money.
Brilliant vid, very interesting and great camera work good bit of drone as well. Also bit of a private interest in this , my uncle was involved in this
Absolutely fascinating video and really well put together! I've thoroughly enjoyed watching it. One (very minor) point though, the memorial that you've pictured at 39:27 isn't the memorial in Normandy, it's the memorial at Bois Jacques, near Foy in Belgium (you can tell by the names listed on it). Anyway, excellent vid, you've earned a new sub!
Zeit Geist thank you for the support ❤️🤘🏻 thanks for info on the memorial I didn’t realise that wasn’t the one in Normandy 🙈 I will add the amendment in the notes of the video - good spotting 👊🏻
We were very very lucky. It was when they very first allowed travel between uk, France, Germany and Spain, literally they allowed a few days before we went, we thought we was going to have to cancel. We were there for 5 days and when we got back they closed the borders within a few weeks as cases started rising again. Restrictions in France were nowhere near as draconian as they were in the uk.

I also really like the way you have captured the vid from all persepctives from all riders, and the drone footage is really good touch aswell .
Thanks, synching 9 cameras and 3 on bike cameras is no fun when editing 😂🙈 but the end product made it worth while.
