Morning Sav. Spot on as always, mate. Injuries aren't the 'get out of jail free card that many would like to believe they are. Dragusin and Gray have built a decent partnership and we have arguably, from a defensive standpoint looked more solid and sensible at the back. The issues are Ange's disjointed system tactics and lack of flexibility and adaptability, along with continually running the same players into the ground and rotating only when there's literally no choice. If ever we needed the fresh legs and youth of Lankshear and Dorrington, even for a few minutes here and there it was over this last 4-8 weeks, but no. He's naive to think repeating this game after game will eventually reap any sustained benefit.
If Man Utd beat Southampton we will drop to 14th and only above Crystal Palace on GD. To all the "Ange In" brigade please let that sad fact sink in. Losing to Liverpool and Villa over the next few weeks in the cups would cause our whole season to implode and we'd be left to scramble for a mid table position. Is this really what we have become ?
When we brought Ange in I never even knew he was, I was so confused how Amorim was available and we did not get him I did not understand we never had full back we got wingbacks from the Conte time and then we get a Manager that don’t even play the system for the players we have 🤦🏾♂️
