i always remembered how her management wanted to hide her marriage and pregnancy to protect her good girl image, but nobody really cared...we just wanted to hear her sing. that whole situation really damaged her career. it was so obvious what was going on she just should've come clean and moved on.

I absolutely love Brandy! My daughter and I had the pleasure of meeting her and her mother last year, and they are as down to earth and real as you can get! She is famous worldwide but she is like a sister when you meet her.
I was the only black person on a small actor equity tour where I was a singer. I had to deal with racism from some of my cast mates and her music got me through that 5 months. I would take long power walks to keep away from them and listen to her CD....I think it was the Never Say Never CD (that's how old I amLOL) I replaced that CD at least 3 times, that's how much I listened to it. Other than Janet Jackson, I have never spent so much money on buying albums in my lifetime as buying her music. If you listen closely, her influence in other mainstream artists' sound is astounding.......She's a legend:).

I was blessed to meet Brandi when she came a shot a few scenes for The Game at my bakery in downtown Atlanta. She had one of the sweetest, most humbling spirits. She wanted to know about me, my business and the struggles that came along with it. She encouraged me to not give up on my dreams and even prayed with me and my daughter. She even went as far as telling the producer of the show that they should purchase pastries from my small business just to show support that day! I'll never forget her kindness!!! The way she describes herself in this clip does not even begin to describe just how amazing of a human being she really is!!!
