This is the second part of our journey to Killarney Provincial Park. In this section, we will explain what you can expect to see if you visit George Lake Campground, as well as activities you can enjoy in this magical place.
We embarked on a canoe trip through George Lake and then completed a short portage to access a chain of other lakes. It was a great experience. Next year, we plan to undertake a complete canoe route that spans several days. Even here, you can witness the mesmerizing beauty of the wilderness.
Last but not least, we hiked the Chikanishing Trail and marveled at the beauty of the rugged Georgian Bay coastline with its pink granite. This land radiates Indigenous spirit at every corner, making it an amazing place to immerse yourself in physically and spiritually.
