Their interaction is fascinating... Sometimes they can observe each other for more than an hour😄
Because she is new to the area, she is trying to set up her territory. It is Cody’s territory. They will have to work out a new dynamic. Hopefully it will be done reasonably peacefully. 😻
You might be right.... So far Blackie has only her own garden (inclusing fence!) as her territory 😺

So far Blackie will only try to chase away Cody whenever he walks over fer fence. Fortunately she won't go far away from her own garden and she avoids getting into the jungle too :)

Reminds me of my own kitty situation. I have a ginger boy and a black boy. My ginger is ever so cautious of the black like Cody is here, but my black boy is just happy all the time and is no threat at all.
Guess Blackie is no real threat either.... She likes to make noise but we've never seen her really attack :)

Wow - that is quite a dense forest floor! I think Cody is smart to keep space between him and Blackie. My cats are all indoors. It's safer for my cats here in Tucson, Arizona. ❤❤❤
Thank you for watching our video! 😽Fortunately the area is enclosed and there is no traffic and/or predators. Neighbors keep an eye on the cats too. If this wasn't the case we would of course have adopted an indoor cat.
@Alvicatchannel - That's pretty cool to have your own enclosed Forrest area that is safe for the cats. You can't tell that it is an enclosed area so thanks for explaining. Still so cool - go Cody go!

Must say this little piece of jungle is extremely rare in Amsterdam too: every square inch is expensive and should normally serve some purpose.

Gee, I didn't know there were jungles in Holland. And bamboo? Female cats should not be agressive - very unbecoming of her. Newcomers should know their place.
LOL! Can't blame her, as Cody is crossing her fence. Sadly we have no real jungle in Holland, but these green pieces of waste ground are very rare in Amsterdam, where almost every square foot has some purpose.
