I don't think things should be converted.. Sans lost one of his moves because of being converted. (The soul grab one.) D4C Lost Dimension hop and the special stand-off M1 gun he had. SP:TW Lost it's teleport, and brief timestop.. And much more.
I plan on probably quitting aut and other jojo games, somehow they managed to make things even more unbalanced every time when they release a “balanced” change. I just had enough I am fed up of playing against people who play metas and act toxic right after the match. I am done with these games

@@MissingHunter I thought about how the old block could work in the new system (an additional parry mechanic that prevents the gaurd from taking damage it breaking, with an additional boost to heat) which makes it more fun to use, while still being a block that enables you to combo better if you land a PB.
They never said they would never add gaster back at one point, but I fully agree that they didn’t do this spec justice but here’s to hoping after these new ones people like them and ask for gaster to be added back and fixed
I think they should fix all of the moves that don't work with Gaster giving it some new VFX not making every move perfect blockable, and make the Gaster Combo and the normal M1 combo combo together. Also making the hand switches much more smoother by only pressing Q or E to change (Q is backwards and E is forward)
Gaster’s summon was originally on F, so they could just have moved it to the G key for the combat rework. But NAHH, let’s remap everything! Screw muscle memory!
@@MissingHunter I actually decided to make a short auto hot key script to rebind my controls for the 1-2 times I tried playing gaster. Why they changed the switch keys to v and b is beyond me, especially when the other keys are so far away.

@shodom Some good suggestion are the spark to make a new stand/spec and reworks. It give the dev ideas and they would take that as a inspiration(even though they not told us at all). They can't just straight up copying the idea, it is obvious that they are professional. But because of the improper use of it would led to the removal of the channel which is sad (also because most suggestion are obvious or already considered )

Arguably, I think that perfect blocking is a large(not all, there's a lot of other stuff as well) problem with the combat rework. In a large majority of fighting games(not roblox), you typically gain a lot less off of blocking most attacks(the reasoning being due to slower start ups, and a lot of moves being able to be cancelled on block, typically into something safe.) Usually there's also options that beat out a few things on block, or if they suspect something like a dp, the attacker can attempt to block, and get a punish afterwards. Even with rush attacks meaning to be the less commital way to hit people, most moves are so bad at hitting people, that it basically comes down to 1-2 other moves, because for some reason the devs decided to not overall increase the speed/options from moves. Barrages typically give slightly more reward but have drastically harsher landing requirements, same goes for most combo tools. And then we get to perfect blocking. Blocking in its self is already hard to punish, due to a lack of block stun and being able to back dash out of almost any move, which even if suspected, could be a side dash, and doesn't really have any safe ways to hit. So, let's say you wanted to hit someone, and suspected their reaction to be to block. In most fighting games, even if you suspected they'd block, you'd usually get the upper hand, or at least land neutral. This is because there's typically at least one fast-ish move that beats blocking(of some kind), or ways to convert fast hits into something that has to be reacted to. In aut, the most you can typically get is a rush attack. That deals 2 damage on average. 2. that's 1/250th of their healthbar AND YOU CAN'T EVEN KILL WITH CHIP. Now let's say that you wanted to use a standard block break(guns are excluded, since they actually can't be pbed, but are typically slow and hard to aim anyways) That gets you perfect blocked, and for the most part, opens you up to be comboed by just about anything the other player wants to use. This is typically at least 90 damage. Even if you landed the block break(without them blocking), you still do around 40 at most(ragdolls in aut also don't typically lead to advantage). That's less than half the average combo from what I can recall. You are actively disincentivized from TRYING to deal with the option, with the tool that's meant to deal with it. And remember how I brought up the speed of the attacks? Most fighting games will have moves around the 16 frame range. Which is considered barely unreactable. Most moves in aut are slower than that, while being perfect blockable, meaning that you're typically capable of perfect blocking them consistently. While aut is a online game without rollback, the fact is that most attacks are still much, much slower, which still leaves them to be easily punished. Oh yeah, all the situations I brought up earlier were to do with if the other player blocked. What if they pressed a counter? Well then you still get punished. If they expected the rush attack or block break, they might outspace and punish. This would be fine, since these options typically can be beaten out via different means, such as waiting. Speaking of counters, for the most part perfect blocks outclass them. If your block is being hit, you can typically dash away. If you're not blocking, you can pb most attacks, which is also less commital, and offers around the same reward. And with that, I think I have finished my explaination on why I think perfect blocking is bad in aut(and in most roblox fighting games.)
The pb should get more adjustments,. for example: imagine someone using a projectile you get a pb, instead of stunning them you actually would parry their projectile back at them Ultrakill style or if you hit the pb you'd dash towards them while having some s in the beginning, instead of stunning the person because sometimes using projectiles just becomes useless if the person knows how to pb. Same could go for melee, because sometimes it gets annoying when almost all attacks are pb'able.

I was excited about the rework of Xchara (main Xchara)... Now, it's in the process of being removed. Sad. Well, I hope they do justice to my boy Asriel, he's my favorite Undertale character, so I'll have him as main, I just hope he gets the treatment he deserves.
I personally have a list of stands that need changes these are in no particular order 1. sptw 90 percent of moveset is useless and leads to you getting comboed 2.spr incredibly boring gameplay that boils down to spamming m1s into barrage 3. stwr you either get free combos or get pbed 4.d4c lt, this stand feels incredibly slow and all projectiles are pb 5. cc two words Getup Iframes 6. jonathan hamon, welcome to stwr v2 7. mih, welcome to stwr v3 8. noc, I knows there already a rework coming up but they should still change it beforehand 9. tw, sudden strike, impale and knives, need I say more 10. wr, combos feel incredibly inconsistent and lightning strike has incredibly small hitboxes leading to you not landing it 90 percent of the time 11. d4c combos feel boring, you get perfect blocked for using gun, and you spam counter 24/7
maybe 12. broly, boring to use, both of its ranged moves are easy to parry with one not even having any stun at all , not enough stun to even confirm m1s on any of its moves, meter cost for its mode+ult are way too high for what they offer (yayyy broly rant)
Ok I'm gonna talk about this but remembering that this is my opinion, ok? I don't think they should fix gaster do to it being an old spec. Fixing it would make people play with it sure but it would be soon forgotten in no time. The code and gameplay of the character is messy and basically used to be like sakura where you would just run spamming your hands then coming close to do some m1 damage. The gaster we have in the game is not accurate to undertale since he does not even appear in it(it's obviously visible that it's GlitchTale gaster from a fan animated series) which would be fine if they reworked it and named it gt/glitchtale gaster cause of much potential it has. Summarizing, I feel like they should rework the spec to bring more people to play it and not forget it so quickly. Also don't come complaining saying "but it would take very long to be made", you have to understand that to make a game good and give it the max effort they can, they need time for it. So you should not complain about how much it takes and instead let them take their time so they don't come rushed/too op if it gets released. hmm. we gonng ignore that about a year ago when the devs started the combat rework. they said that they are replacing gaster and x chara because they do not want to waste the time nor effort in reworking them.

GE has a 300+ dmg combo with abusing the ragdoll on stand off Y, it also used to have an inf combo in some older versions of aut. (the 300 dmg combo may or may not still work due to them giving the ragdoll s once they get up which makes ge terrible again)

The reason people don’t use Gaster is because it’s so bugged that it’s unobtainable right now. If Gaster was obtainable there would be a lot more complaints. Perfect blocking makes every projectile a free combo for your opponent. I point out Gaster’s moves specifically because they are almost exclusively projectiles. It’s not hard to perfect block knives, it’s suprising when they DONT get perfect blocked. It’s not like perfect blocking other moves is that challenging either, after playing AUT pvp for a week pretty much any player can learn to perfect block and make half of every stand’s moveset (or more) useless. Golden Experience was only good for about a week. Currently, the only way GE can get a combo above 100 damage (which would be low for a meta stand) is landing restrain, which you have to combo into from stand off E or R. Both of these moves are EASILY perfect blocked, just as bad as knives. While GE can use frog to become invincible, any ability with a movement option like teleport (so the majority of meta abilities) can run faster than GE and time out the frog. On top of that, the devs also SPECIFICALLY nerfed GE by removing comboing off of stand off Y and making the H impossible to land by removing the ability to aim it. There’s no way GE wins against a decent player.

The gaster we have in the game is not accurate to undertale since he does not even appear in it(it's obviously visible that it's GlitchTale gaster from a fan animated series) which would be fine if they reworked it and named it gt/glitchtale gaster cause of much potential it has. Summarizing, I feel like they should rework the spec to bring more people to play it and not forget it so quickly. Also don't come complaining saying "but it would take very long to be made", you have to understand that to make a game good and give it the max effort they can, they need time for it. So you should not complain about how much it takes and instead let them take their time so they don't come rushed/too op if it gets released. I don't have much to say about golden experience but there's my speech about gaster.

hmm. we gonng ignore that about a year ago when the devs started the combat rework. they said that they are replacing gaster and x chara because they do not want to waste the time nor effort in reworking them.
I mainly made this video to explain how they could revert their decision like they did with Sakuya AND other stands like GE and CD are starting to get the same fate

GE has a 300+ dmg combo with abusing the ragdoll on stand off Y, it also used to have an inf combo in some older versions of aut. (the 300 dmg combo may or may not still work due to them giving the ragdoll s once they get up which makes ge terrible again)
abusing ragdoll doesnt work anymore and it hasnt for over a week

@@SunnyPopsicles Yes, it's SUPPOSED to be a stronger version, but the devs decided to not only rework SP but also make it viable with adjustments to how its move set worked, meanwhile SPTW is left in the dust with the SAME EXACT MOVESET its had since release with only a mere conversion, it also has no combo extenders and the only way to win with it is rely on beatdown and awakening while also running away to try and get your long ass wind up time stop off, they gave it two new moves in that one summer update, yet they removed one of them (burst ts) and made the other one (liver shot) not only no longer combo extend, but it also costs bar for some reason

The reason people don’t use Gaster is because it’s so bugged that it’s unobtainable right now. If Gaster was obtainable there would be a lot more complaints.
Perfect blocking makes every projectile a free combo for your opponent. I point out Gaster’s moves specifically because they are almost exclusively projectiles.
It’s not hard to perfect block knives, it’s suprising when they DONT get perfect blocked. It’s not like perfect blocking other moves is that challenging either, after playing AUT pvp for a week pretty much any player can learn to perfect block and make half of every stand’s moveset (or more) useless.
Golden Experience was only good for about a week. Currently, the only way GE can get a combo above 100 damage (which would be low for a meta stand) is landing restrain, which you have to combo into from stand off E or R. Both of these moves are EASILY perfect blocked, just as bad as knives. While GE can use frog to become invincible, any ability with a movement option like teleport (so the majority of meta abilities) can run faster than GE and time out the frog. On top of that, the devs also SPECIFICALLY nerfed GE by removing comboing off of stand off Y and making the H impossible to land by removing the ability to aim it. There’s no way GE wins against a decent player.
