Thank you for the upload. I cast to my 80 inch TV and find it so relaxing watching the beautiful scapes. Really inspiring.
Tim Berry haha yeah oops. Meant it more as how cool these scapes look on the big screen :)
Amazing piece of wood that is...
Awesome!
I am obsessed with that piece of wood!
Simply wow
Don’t think I would plant this, the stone and wood give a fantastic gothic feel. Some brightly coloured fish and shrimp would really contrast against the dark wood and stone.
Simply superb!
Great video! Love the hardscape process! Every one is its own look and so unique! Thanks George!
Fantastic wood , it would make any aquarium look amazing ✌🙏
Wow! Amazing job 👍This piece of wood is mind blowing
That stone at the end was the perfect finisher piece. :)
Killer George, I love that stump. it reminds me of my favorite fishing hole. Filled with brook trout! Celestial pearl danios would be AWSOME!
I do not know English but I admire my brother's works from Vietnam
Those is crazy, i watch allot of your videos(huge fan) and all of a sudden your at on of my favorite lfs that i go to! (Even if it takes me a hour drive to get into the city) i will say that store had some of the best scaped tanks anywhere! Anyways that's crazy I've looked at that tank plenty of times and never would have imagined you had actually been there, your an inspiration to a Texas country boy like me, scape on brother. Yeee haaw
That looks pretty impressive already
Like always. I just get gobsmaked With what you and your friends do George. Im looking forward to the fished piece.
Hi George, I love that tree trunk!! It's going to look awesome! Looking forward to seeing the next video.👍😘😀🌱❤️
Beautiful
Came here from Tank Tested. Great video, can't wait to check out more of them!
Great scape George can’t wait to see it finished
Very nice video! I enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing!
Looks like you had an awesome trip to USA. I live south of Houston and visit ADG monthly. Thanks for doing what you do.
That wood is a work of art alone, I'd consider pygmy Cory's, pygmy gouramis, shrimp and a school of neons.
Looks great, looking forward to the next video 👍
Congratulations on 75K subscribers!! You deserve every one of them.
💕💕💕👍💕💕💕
The video was great, that is a powerful and stunning hardscape.
Love the collab. Gonna have to hit up Hiep to get updates on this scape. He definitely doesn’t mind the drive to ADG :)
Really have been enjoying all the resent content from A.D.G. George. Thanks for sharing.. I'll leave the fish and plants up to you guys, I'm always too indecisive 😁👍👍👍
Hi! I hope you will show us the end with plants and fishes thanks for the video 👍
Great video
Looks fantastic. I'd try a close cropped mossy look.
Great piece of hardscape!! 👍
It's that time of the year for me to be rescaping and starting new tanks! 🤟🏻 Couldn't make it to aquashella and it's killing me! LOL But I'll be making the 3 or so hr. drive from San Antonio to Houston and visit ADG soon! Have a great time in my home state George! 🤠
Super Miura I’m in SA too and just got started in the hobby. I know there’s a cichlids club around here but is there anything for planted tanks?
I didn’t make it to Aquashella either 😢
@@broderickedwards3226 I'm with you, I'm about 2 yrs. in the hobby so I'm still new too. I know of the San Antonio Aquatic plant club but that's mostly an internet based club. I hang mostly around fintique. Most people I've talked to have no idea what aquascaping is. Some know what Amano shrimp are but have no idea who he was! lol I guess we have to raise more interest out here. I would be all for meet ups. I have tons of crypts, and shrimp I'd love to trade! I know Texas Marine and Tropical sometimes sell Tropica products but that's not often. Good to meet another scapist!
Super Miura I’m with you on raising interest around here. I set my first tank up exactly two months ago so I’m very brand new. That was after months of research though. I’ve been trying too convince some friends into letting me set up a shrimp tank for them. I’ve been to fintique and Texas marine. Salty fish is starting to have more plants as well. I honestly got most of my plants online. I’m down to meet up at some point. I’ll end up having some rotala, ludwigia, and s. repens cuttings.
Good job, great video .
Hi George, great if not short video, would have been great to see it planted. The wood is such a dominant piece in the scape that it almost doesn’t need a lot of plants, a wood version of an Iwagumi. Possibly a carpet and some tall stem plants to the rear on one side and maybe some Anubias or Bucephalandra’s tucked into the crevices. It will be great to see what they decide. All the best,Martin
Great video, stunning hardscape. Really like those dark rocks and that huge trunk piece of wood is amazing. Hope to see this tank get planted and as for stocking I'd definitely like to see that beautiful group of red harlequin rasboras go back in there, I need to find me some of those for one of my own aquascapes. Also, think I'd stock with some amano shrimp and some Ottos or panda gara.
I'm trying to find such a cool tree trunk, never had luck in shops or the wild :D
I have not seen such a thing in a shop either but I've seen a lot of these trunks in the wild. I travel to the wilderness in Norway and Sweden and you find these pieces on the bank of medium to large rivers a lot of times washed up in an upright position. Most of these are from conifers though which can leech harmful substances in the water if they're too fresh and can also break down too quickly. Past summer I was at a large lake that was regulated and they had lowered the water line by 20 meters and exposed a whole forest of old trunks and whole trees.
Cpd's ..love the new scape better then old
Awesome 👌👌👌
Hi George.
The Scape looks Amazing with that mountain effect created by that very big piece of Bogwood.
It looks Amazing.
I can already vision it with beautiful plants and some really nice Endler Guppies or something along that line.
Thank you very much for sharing.
As always it is very appreciated. :)
This video appears to be in the Inspirational Shop Visits playlist twice.
Nice tank George, Danios would look nice.
Cool 😎
Very nice hardscapes can't wait for the rest to come together. Lots of plants or some here and there?
Amazing hardscape! It’s so perfect, in fact should just leave it be….
It's a very nice aquascape. I think that the hardscape would suit a more natural and chaotic planting scheme. So I think that a mixed carpet of Monte Carlo and Marsilea, transitioning to Hairgrass and Cryptocorynes, then Giant Hairgrass, Cryptocoryne or Crinum, Bucephalandra and Anubias on the rocks and lower sections of wood, Needle Leaf and Trident Fern on the top of the wood and maybe some emergent moss would be a good selection.
Hey man!!! Nice build there, I lobe your videos, I try to learn and relax by watching them, it gives me immense satisfaction and an ear to ear smile. Just one strong suggestion though : try avoiding heavy bass music, I mean some light piano music or something like that will be great. Thanks man, keep up the great work. I'm a big fan. Bravo.
Whatever music I choose there will always be some people that don’t approve, so I choose what I think goes best. Thanks for the feedback 👍🙏
That's an impressive piece of wood! I think the scape needs some corydoras.
Imagine your hardscape wheeled in on a cart! It shure looks nice enough. You could have all kinds of fish in there I suppose.
I'd love to grow an Apple Tree and cut a corner of the Trunk for an Aquascape. I read online that there is various types of wood that can be used that are Non-Toxic.
Looking good George. I would have a simple carpet, a few Buce’s dotted amongst the rocks and something taller at the back, crypts or hydrophilia maybe? I just think it would be a shame to cover that wood and the nooks with too many plants.
red stem plants to give a volcano vibe
Big wood like that trunk is tough for the average guy to find...in my one year of experience at least. It’s a nice piece!
How much of the individual hardscape pieces do you get to choose or does ADG choose?
Looks great so far.
Question: How long has using hard scape, mostly wood, that protrudes above the surface and sometimes the rim?
I imagine there might be a connection between rimless, hoodless tanks and their growing use.
And did an Aquascaper start it with a design or piece of work?
Is Aquascaping something taught formal classes, like Community College or University?
Sorry I’m geeking out.
Slip some blue rams in there, cheeky little fellas!
I love this without plants
is there an update video on this tank after it was planted and grown in?
George...so sorry for going off topic...but what IS that cool looking plant on the wall?🙈...is it some sort of an airplant? If its a real plant...could you be kind enough to share its name please?
How much such aquarium cost to buy as a whole.
Great video! Q: can I eliminate the canister filter if I use the lava rock in the aquascape and use power heads? Like salt water scapes. Maybe use a very small filter to polish the water
Manuel T I've considered this before. I would be cautious as to how much bioload you add and to grow a healthy mass of plants. Remember that Reef aquariums often have about 1/2 the bioload of freshwater aquariums and they tend to have higher flow and also skimmers. James Wong has used no-tech (except lights) before and his fish have done fine, but I think the stocking levels were lower than a typical aquarium and the plant mass was impressive.
I can't believe you actually tore that aquascape apart...
Hi
I have got Red Laterite rock as a decor for my tank...can i use it in my freshwater aquarium (not planted)
Leave it like that, looks great. No alge, maybe add some airplants.
Happy fish kipping
🤪
hi George!! ONF or Twinstar 600 SA?
Gonna have to be some bucephelandra. Keep it simple and dark with dark green plants. Nothing tall growing because that hard scape does all the talking.
Yep, I have to agree. It's a very imposing hardscape. I could see various bucephelandra placed along wood structure while keeping the rest of the scape very green and dark with only a dot of red somewhere along the top.
I live close to somewhere that has alot of lava rock. Would it be OK to collect from there or is the lava rock the you use treated somehow?
Where is the planting video??
Jungle scape, all the way . IMO the trunk is way too centered. Try something new, like maybe move the trunk all the way to the front of one side and then try to subdue it with plants ; )
what kind of wood is that?
I'd do some cories and honeycomb woodcats.
Cool its differt looks mars crater from a distens cool vid swrimp and som smal fish wif som color
My brother i had a AMAZING time hanging out with you @ your friend you are a dope dude !! #SQUADUP come check me out some time in my channel LOVE is Love always not sometimes thanks for showing me reallll LOVE!!!!🙌🙏😎 #THEKINGOFSCAPE!!! HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!🙌😎😏👍
Where do I find wood in US?
Cichlids is the best for that scape
celestial pearl danio? bolivian ram?
what type of fish at the beginning? very familiar but i cant recall the name?
Personaly i would have this as a hardscape only tank. Just add a few more small details with the rocks and it would look like sex on a stick! ❤️
😎👍👍👍
Put 10 or 12 Oscars in there!
George mate you were robbed in Aquashella..)
Lots of C. Wendtii "Bronze" IMO
😲😱😱
Why wouldn't you just sell the aquarium?
коряга зачётная...
bagu2 kayak gitu kok dibongkar
That moment when you want to have an aquascape but you're a student with neither money or time... 😢
Nano tanks can be alot of fun. Especially shallow tanks . There easy to move and cheap.
@@howlinhauler Those shallow ones, are those with pumps and filters as the bigger ones are?
@@MrSplattman with shallow tanks u usually go with alot of plants and a small bioload . U could just run a cheap skimmer and a 13 watt led bulb from amazon.
@@howlinhauler Okay, so a skimmer like this one? www.amazon.com/Saim-Aquarium-Surface-Protein-Skimmer/dp/B01IBQP32O/ref=sr_1_8?keywords=small+Surface+Skimmer&qid=1554150326&s=gateway&sr=8-8
Ngomong naon mnh bule..
yeah.... you can rescape....or you can do what i do, and just buy more aquariums lol...
Sa
My dream setup, or at least plant selection would basically be a copy of Enrico Serena's "Secret Shore", and for fish I'm imagining Lemon tetras, and or glowlight danios, and or flame tetras, and or pseudomugils; basically something yellow.
George, thank you for coming to Texas. I'm glad that you've met such a kindred spirit in Jeff and ADG.
