Haik is a min-documentary TV show in Norway where the show's producer will take an artist on a magical day full of surprise events. In this one, Aurora is taken to a location where she performs her song Warrior for two unsuspecting fans, goes to a place where she tries out a Virtual Reality headset, then hears one of her favorite Norwegian singers one of Aurora's own songs to her. Finally, they arrive at the concert site - Aurora knew that she would be doing a concert but she didn't know the location. This forest is very near the house she grew up in - she spent a lot of time as a child roaming this area. The audience was filled with friends and family including her parents. One final surprise was the male choir - she had no clue about it. The show is worth watching in it's entirety since it really gives you insight into who she is as a person. I believe it's available on UA-cam with English subtitles.
Thank you! Another 'spot on' reaction video. You are quickly moving to the top of the people that I enjoy listening/watching Aurora songs/performances with.
One thing, of many, that I love about her music is that she can always portray deep meaning from very simple lyrics. It always has a very clear idea, but at the same time if you dig into it, you will probably relate to it in different ways that I do. I suggest you check out Churchyard (Live at KEXP), it's one of my favorites and a more upbeat concert (you will find out that she has live performances with a large viriety of instrument settings, which always shape her music differently from how you knew it previously). Keep it up!
@@infin8reactions I agree 200% with Felipe, but not a suggestion ... it is essential! Please react "Churchyard", what I love is that despite being a small live concert in a radio station, it gave a whole performance to the> 30 people who witnessed it on the site, but the energy ... wow! ua-cam.com/video/P_XguuxLo10/v-deo.html Very Important to highlight the backing singer that Aurora has: Silja Sol, she is also a really extraordinary singer.
Fantastic. I love this version. The mens choir was a surprice for Aurora. The location too. Aurora wouldn't just live like this ... she does...more than we do. If Earth had a voice, it speaks through Aurora. It's not just image.
Wonderful reaction as always; the full concert is wonderful and another standout performance from this concert is "Infections of a Different Kind". Also, worth watching the full documentary that this concert was the end of.
The oh eh ohs that she sings are, if i remember correctly, a form of traditional norwegian chant, she implements them in most if not all of her songs, its a beautiful way to honor that type of singing in my opinion
I like your work trying to understand the lyrics during the song. Great man. this song is so compelling and invigorating and important. We only have one home !! Listen to this concert and the song Infections of a differnet kind. According to her, the most important on her first EP and for me the best on that record. It is very different compared to this song but it is so beautiful and even AURORA gets emotionally taken.
Great reaction once again. This HAIK concert was the end of the "HAIK" - day when a Norwegian Broadcasting team took her around for different kind of surprises. She knew about the concert, but the location and the men's choir was a surprise as well. "The River" from HAIK is a gem, among others.. And so is the HAIK documentary, you should react to it or just see it for yourself.
You definitely got the message. The music video is one of her best for this song and worth a watch. The message comes through. The vocalizations she does for many of her songs are a signature of hers. A suggestion for the next reaction, at the same HAIK concert: Infections of a Different Kind
Thank you for doing this one! This is my favourite, especially the music video packs a punch. She is very tale nted and unique, she also wrote many songs at a reeeeally young age. Other good ones: It happened quiet and Lucky live at Nidarosdomen, Queendom and Runaway live at nobel peace price ceremony.
I’m commenting this at your first pause of the song, so you might have understood it later in the reaction, but the lyrics are from a Native American Proverb. It’s about nature. She’s saying when the trees have all been cut down, and we have polluted the rivers and Yh earth with chemicals/machinery, what next? Cuz we can’t eat money. So she’s saying money is useless when you’re destroying the earth
Concerts are great but this song official video is well done message representation. Other song that i suggest official video is ""Running with the Wolves"". Sometimes if official video has excellent expression of lyrics i would think video is better than concert. I guess it's a matter if one has appreciation for a video or concert.

I think I will do all of this concert in time, thank you 😃👌

Just going through your playlists and delighted to see Aurora included especially this , the video for this is a different experience

Thanks mate, I try to cover all aspects of a song when I react to it, I like to try and understand the artists

I think she speaks through the earth sort of...
She is so pure 😁

I'll get to them all at some point mate don't worry 😁👌
Even better experience in video …usually live is better
This is about environmental protection.
Awesome, I think I skated enough around that issue 😃👌

Now I reached the end, and Yh Yh you got it 💪🏼😂
Haha I do get there sometimes 😁👌
the best thing about this is she had no idea the men's choir would show up. that look on her face is genuine surprise and glee
also this song is about the environment

Whatever it will be, I will react to them all 😁
Aurora is highlighting the challenge of climate change we face as a species.
You should really, really react, or watch the whole HAIK consert. About 50 minutes long.
I'm finishing the nidarosdomen concert first then I'll jump on Haik!
The ccs are bugging me in this one. Everything else is fyr.
