With just a couple of tweaks of the air bypass screw and the power valve screw, this 2022 KTM 250 XC freaking screams now. It pulls so hard and revs out so nicely. I love this bike.
I'm also testing out some custom valving on the WP Cone Valve forks and Traxx shock from my friends at MotoXperts. So far, so good!

Trails look amazing. I threw a coober ECU in my 22' 300xc...you wouldn't believe the difference in throttle response and power redistribution throughout the rev range....game changer
Really digging the blue and orange color scheme you have going on this bike. Also, thanks for leaving that gate as you found it! Can have negative consequences leaving one open or closing one that was meant to stay open.
One of your better videos with views, IMO. Would like to see a little bit more of the drone footage mixed in and less POV, but still overall really cool!

$6k suspension upgrade?! Like half the cost of the bike? Something is seriously wrong with WP if it requires a $6k upgrade, no? Does it feel like you got your money’s worth in all seriousness? Seems excessive. Great photography and scenery by the way.
Suspension is all expensive. The price of a set of used forks and the rear shock setup for an A class rider can be anywhere from 5k to 12k
I think suspension is only necessary when you’re at the A-pro level. I see no reason why he needs 6k in suspension to do trail riding lmao
This is why I got a 2022 Beta 300 instead of the new KTM I was planning on getting. WP is trash. Sad because the rest of the bike is sick.
Unless you’ve ran a set of a-kit suspension set up for you, you have no idea

Might be giving the 250xc a shot for my next bike or add to my garage as a second toy 22" 250xcw. Toss up between that or the 350xcf. Xcw is sick for the hard enduros, want to get something better for the hare scrambles. Although the XCW is pretty sick everywhere. Is that the pre-mix 2023 you're on? Or that not come yet?

Get a in-line fuel pressure gauge, record the running/riding pressure so you have it for future troubleshooting. There is a fuel pump upgrade that I consider essential, replaces the china fuel pump with a high quality one.

@@Briank-ef5iq I had a horrible experience with my new husky 22 TPI bike. @ 15hrs of gentle use, a ccp censor failed, @17hrs, Chinese fuel pump failed (about the time the fuel tank fades to an fugly yellow). Also at 17hrs the kickstand return spring lever sheared off (well know design problem), lost the hardware and buggered up threads required kickstand replacement. 2nd failure of ccp sensor @20hrs, plus the silencer was soaked in oil for some unknown reason, I took a 5k loss (wouldn't sell for 6k locally, most potential buyers commentedon ktm/husky quality problems) so I traded it in on a new Yamaha. Made a few videos on it, grandby homesteading.
@@Dat_Sun I got 19 hours on my 22 250xc bikes been flawless so far idles perfect no flat spots , I just let it warm up 7-10 min at idle then rip it

What drone are you using
I'd like to see a comparison review of a TM 300 EN. . I'd be curious of your thoughts compared to the KTM. TMs are a class of their own, and even know they are hard to acquire due to dealership locations, they stand alone on top.
I’ve heard a lot about the 250 being better than the 300 m. How so? What do you think?

As always, great vid Kyle! I’ve got a ‘22 Erzberg w/ 12 hrs on it and still runs like crud. Bogs out pretty bad until mid 3rd gear or so. What is the best fix to resolve this issue?

Perform the oil pump priming sequence. I think it may also perform a CCPS calibration at the same time. Helped A ton on my bike. Could have been a fluke, but it is free! If that doesn’t fix it look up the TPS rigging procedure and do it.
Check/adjust your power valve setting. Easy thing to try for a solution.

I’m new to riding and picked up a 2023 GASGAS EC 300, is it similar to this bike and is it good for CO single track?

Basically an xc-w Ktm. So perfect for single track. Or I gues husky TE as it has linkage.
I do the same thing Kyle... Rain in the mountains pushes me out on the desert too.
Last week the mountains were too we for me to ride. I got soaked and didn't want that to happen again.

What adjustments have you made to the suspension? I find mine too feel a little too light or loose in the tight stuff
Funny, here in New England in one of the areas we ride there is about 200yrds of open space like you have... lol

Is there forward compatibility with your upgraded suspension to the new 23 xc frame/platform? I would guess yes on the forks but no on the shock.
You got it, forks are the same, shock platform is completely new though.
Are you going to give that bike away with that suspension set up?
I’m dreaming about how sweet it would be to ride single track trails on one of those modern 2 stroke bikes! I’ve been riding wr250r dual sport, it’s been getting me out exploring riding trails falling in love with riding. But I see a 2 stroke in my future.
I made the switch from wr250r to a ktm 250xcw, and no regrets here, I'm able to ride a lot more tight technical woods.
@@seller2001 that’s what I’m after! Riding more tight technical trails on a 2 stroke seems like the good life.

Hey guys, I wanted to know if an 2023 ktm 250 sx 2 stroke bike be able to turn it into a trail bike? If so how or what can I do?

My question.... is why couldn't they keep oil injection?
It was troublesome. The pump requires regular testing and replacement. The feed line was exposed and easily damaged.
@@Dat_Sun see I have the 23 250 xcw. It has proven to be super reliable. And these doesn't seem to be anything exposed

Someone help me with carb tuning please.
I watched one of those videos about how to adjust the air screw to get throttle responsiveness. Now it revs out the best and the revs drop down to idle well just like they said is the best on those jetting videos. Now i noticed i definitely lost power on the low end. Did i gain anything on top end? I dont notice anything on top end so idk. Why are they saying you should do this to get a chrispy throttle response on neutral if it has less power under load??

This one is the Skydio2
When you ride the bike so wound up (wing ding ding) at such high RPM, you're tightening that suspension. Try riding another gear higher and use the clutch to romp when needed. The suspension will be so much more compliant.
