They were the record holder in world football for most trophies won up until recently. In the early 90's only Man Utd had a bigger stadium. They outspent Man Utd on transfers in the 90's. The 4th or 5th team to win a European trophy (before Liverpool or Arsenal). They beat reigning champions of England Leeds Utd in the CL in 1992 and missed out on the final by 1 pt in the old group stage competition... Rangers have fallen since the early 2000's but they are one of Britain's biggest clubs historically and could be amongst the top 5 again if they had the extra revenue being in the EPL would provide.

It would be interesting to see Rangers and Celtic play in the English leagues and to be honest I would welcome this. Why not? We already have welsh sides playing in the efl. I think they would do quite well after a few years in England with the increased prize money and TV revenue. They’d probably even be bought out by mega rich owners.

They were the record holder in world football for most trophies won up until recently. In the early 90's only Man Utd had a bigger stadium. They outspent Man Utd on transfers in the 90's. The 4th or 5th team to win a European trophy (before Liverpool or Arsenal). They beat reigning champions of England Leeds Utd in the CL in 1992 and missed out on the final by 1 pt in the old group stage competition...
Rangers have fallen since the early 2000's but they are one of Britain's biggest clubs historically and could be amongst the top 5 again if they had the extra revenue being in the EPL would provide.
