Abuela: Yaneth Waldman
Spanish isn't my first language so any corrections are welcome!
I translated all the Spanish words that the English version uses, 'cause not doing it felt weird to me. I only left Casita (little house) because it's also the name of the "character"
0:50 esta* not está
1:36 "mal" here means any kind of physical pain, so illnesses, injuries, aches... all would've been a good translation as well
2:04 Félix* not feliz
Love the Spanish version and thank God I took Spanish as an elective at the uni. I went to the cinema with my friend and we were both like „yay, we understand all the paraphyses”.😅 Felt sorry for the children though as those paraphyses weren’t properly explicated.
Spanish version rocks!
Ok, you just made me realize that as an Italian my mind automatically translated the Spanish words in our dubbing without noticing, but what about all the non-Romance-languages-speaking kids? How are they supposed to understand all of these words? XD
@@TOTO-5 i think your translation is pretty on point tho even though I need to learn a little more
@@EclipselaLuna3657 you're so kind, thank you! And good luck on learning Spanish
@@TOTO-5 espera eres español XD y yo comentado en ingles
@@TOTO-5 aún no entiendo "rompimos el hielo" XD eso no es cuando dices algo después de un silencio incómodo?
It’s cool to see the difference between direct translation and adapting it for English
I love the "my tia pepa" part it sounds so good
Ngl I love the way it sounds, like "mi tiiiia Pepa"
I DO AS WELL- I ALWAYS SKIP TO THAT PART.
I just realized I that Abuela's solo has the same melody as "Dos Orogitas!"
you _just_ realised that?
@@applefunfact that can easily be missed if youve only watched the movie/listened to the soundtrack once lol
It is seen that you do not speak Spanish followed by Spanish, one of the main rules (It is written as it sounds), and it is Dos Oruguitas and not Orogitas
Love how well the rhyme scheming works in both languages, English and Spanish.
The part from 3:30 on when the cadence of the song rapidly picks up...is one of the most impressive things I've ever heard in a song. Fantastic. Seriously. I am blown away. The English version is great. But this is amazing
.
_yeah I was so surprised, whoever sang this did a very brilliant job_
I love the way she says “Puertas” so much.
But why is the Spanish better than English version.? Love this!
Muy bella la canción
Thanks. I couldn’t find any other videos with Spanish & English subtitles
You're welcome! That's why I made this video :)
How about we don't talk about Bruno
@@BillyWilliam-py5kg I don't wanna make that one because there's already a translation, so here's Takeryuu's video ua-cam.com/video/S01R0Qnmkiw/v-deo.html
@@TOTO-5 it's OK
@@TOTO-5 Hello, well that video that had the translation of We don't talk about Bruno was deleted.
I love this part "Soy de la familia Madrigal" yeah I can sing in Spanish because i know Spanish and Im Romanian girl🇹🇩!
gracias amigo!
the native version is definitely better than the original version
this just scratches my brain right man
was the same version in latin and castellano? it was very good 💕🇧🇷
Yup, this time they only made one dub
I have to say that only is the version in Latin and NOT in castellano but it for a native Spanish speaker who live in Spain 🇪🇸 I really like it and if it was a version in castellano I’ll like more the Latin one
I think this and isabelas song are %100 better in Spanish
When I first heard that a Disney movie set in Colombia was coming out, I thought like this: So what happens to Latin American Spanish dubbing? Will it be made in Mexico like other movies? Or since the movie takes place in Colombia, will it be made in Colombia?
This dubbing featured an only Colombian cast, but the parts were recorded from either Colombia, USA, Mexico or Canada. I don't know for sure because I'm not a native Spanish speaker, but I think they also used a slight Colombian accent with typical phrases of the country
@@TOTO-5 You'd be correct on the accent part, I'm only learning Spanish still and the accent came out very clear to me and my El Salvadorian partner. As for recording, if I remember correctly the lines were recorded amongst Mexico and Colombia :D
It was made with Colombian actors, so the dubbing reflects that country. It would be a bit weird to hear characters living in Colombia speaking with a Mexican or European Peninsular accent
Me gusta Este cancion

_spanish version is so much better than English but both are nice. __3:30__ onwards was very impressive_
I love this thank you ❤
1:04 - 1:09 was what i heard from TikTok and now I found the actual video :D
THE PERQIULOS POR FAVOR SOUNDS HOT (sorry if i spelled it wrong)
It's tranquilos por favor (please calm down) and how she says it feels so good!
me encanta el español pero soy frances
You know what, i feel extremely better with the Spanish one than english, especially at Abuela's part because it fits a lot.
💪💪💪💪✨✨🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴
“Tranquilos por favor” 😩😩😩
Hello, Could you do the translation of "We don't talk about Bruno" because they deleted the one that another user had uploaded.
Tranquilos por favor is soo hot im gonna melt
De alguein quien habla espanol como su segundo languistica, me gusta a escuchar musica espanol a aprender mas. Es mis espanol cierto en este parapgrapha o no?
It’s pretty good! Although I’d say:
De alguien que habla español como su segundo idioma, me gusta escuchar música en español para aprender más.
Se entiende mi español en este comentario, o no?
Wow i m isabella i m prefekta
Ow hi i m isabella in encanto
Where is the voice of man
It is (Tío Félix), not (Tío Feliz)
I can't believe I made such a typo, my bad
@@TOTO-5 Don't worry, we all make mistakes, it's common, yes, you work hard to edit and make videos, believe me, I found one who made 4, but most of you are perfect, you only missed one letter,The letters X and Z are very close to each other, so it is common to make mistakes
@@inakichavez3819 thank you so much, I know it's no big deal but it was kind of funny
And that why coffee for grown-ups
Mirabel says: "and,. that's why you shouldn't drink coffee".
this does not translate to the english version
It's a translation of the Spanish version.
Sounds like latin spanish not eu spanish
It is indeed Latin Spanish (from Columbia, not Mexico like other movies) but since there's no European version I just called it Spanish since it's used both in Latinoamerica and Spain
@@TOTO-5 Sorry but i am pretty sure what they are using is neutral spanish. I don't feel a colombian accent. Neutral spanish is just the pronunciation that voice actors use for movies etc.
@@lucario2188 sorry i misread Persada's comment: while the dubbing was made in Columbia making it as a matter of fact Latin Spanish, the accent the voice actors have is just a neutral one (or so I've read since Spanish isn't my first language)
@@TOTO-5 It's not a 100% neutral, they use a lot of Colombian words and phrases, and some characters actually have a strong accent (:
@@gustavoandraderuelas2472 thanks for letting me know, now that I think about it I was having troubles with translating "de una" which I guess is Colombian slang (again I'm not a native speaker so sorry for the confusion)
You literal translated it
But you can just watch it in English
_some people are trying to learn Spanish but need English subtitles. Like me_
Firs the English lyrics are not correct and I watched the movie-
It's a translation of the Spanish version.
These lyrics in English are wrong
It’s a translation of the Spanish version.
Wrong subtitles
The Spanish version doesn’t have the same lyrics as English one

4:04 even as a native Spanish speaker I had to read it to understand what she was saying (I’m Mexican so we talk slow 💀)
It happened the same for me with Italian (my mother language), I posted this same song and got the Italian rap part wrong💀
Nice! I think the subtitles are a bit off though
this is a translation of the Spanish version to english. Most songs with direct translations wont rhyme so they change the lyrics
@@evanorsomething909 Yeah
I checked twice, it’s correct-it’s just the literal translation
