My buddy and I once climbed an 8-legged water tower as kids. I’m surprised I’m still alive today. One of the steel legs had an unlocked submarine type door, at ground level, and had a ladder in it. We hopped the fence after 1 am and climbed for about 20 minutes. Great view once you get to the top.
Ive always wondered what the inside of a water tower looks like i thought there was going to be a lot of water but I didn't expect it to just be pipes sadly this one got demolished 😢

never understood the point of those center pipe grabs if they're too close to the ladder to function. lulz. Can't wait for the day i get to climb one with the ladder on the inside.

That’s not the inside of the tank. That is just the access path to get to the roof. You can only access the inside is the tank from the roof.
