Alfie the spot you're thinking of getting pierced is not a very good spot to begin with piercings. It's cartilage and cartilage can't grow back so you can't just heal it close. And this back of your ear cups the sound so the waves go into your ear. So having a hole in there would affect your hearing as well. Stay blessed bye

i have had my conch done (the part you are talking about) it was the most painful and most difficult piercing to heal. You cant sleep on it or touch it or anything for about 2 months and the salt water soaks several times a day take up time. Its a really high maintenance piercing. Don't get me wrong, it looked great while i had it, but it is going to be really sore for anything up to two weeks and a high risk of infection. I think you would suit the piercing but it is worth researching it first and make sure you go to a good place that has somebody who specialises in piercings.

Alfie, i have that spot in my ear pierced, and it looks cool, but a) it doesn't heal up, and b) IT HURTS LIKE A TRUCK DRIVING THROUGH YOUR EAR. and i have several piercings and tattoos. i'm no stranger to pain. it was the worst! lol. now i keep the piercing out, but you can still see daylight thru my ear...

Alfie, that piercing is called a conch piercing! I got mine done about two years ago and it was totally worth it! It's pretty painful and the healing time is quite long, but it's definitely such a cool and unique piercing. I definitely recommend you get it--you actually would look really good with it!
