I think the Cuttlefish was seeing it's reflection in the camera. That is why it attacked. In my video of Cuttlefish, at one point it's facing the camera and starts to make itself bigger. Lovely shot came out of it. I thought why it happened and I figured that it must have been the reflection.
I have an unreasonable fear of spiders... But I think these guys are just super cute! Getting creeped out by specific animals is just part of the wonder of the human brain I guess...

This cuttlefish was clearly being territorial towards the diver because it was attacking out of being disturbed by the diver getting too close to its den. The cuttlefish was merely letting the diver know that he should back off and leave the cuttlefish in peace inside its den.
You are most likely right but the first time I knew it was in that crevice was when all the bulls eyes parted as it raced out in attack mode. Until then I was just videotaping along the reef
@@sammontanez6908 no I had done so many times and filmed them. It was the 1st time I'd had one act like that. Then I recalled being advised if I was diving that reef that these ones were aggressive, which I totally forgot about until this happened.

Imagine what it looked like through a tiny black and white screen, that's why it goes off to the left at the start, I was looking over the camera to see what just came racing out, I thought it was a shark through the screen.
Aquakiwinz it's most likely a giant Australian Cuttlefish and it's probably on the hunt after all ceflipods are not very energy efficient with their camouflage that needed a larger brain to control that camo
