It's great to see someone who does not suffer from the Perfectionism Disease to proudly show off their home to others. Lived in, well worn, well loved, comfortable design is wonderful! I see beauty everywhere in your home!
What I love most about your house is that it is the very essence of life. I can actually feel your passion, love and family which are all celebrated and cherished within its walls. Thanks so much for sharing!❤
As a minimalist, I thoroughly enjoy your style and home. You inspire a lot of what I do in my home. I just do it on a smaller scale. Literally, my house is much smaller. But I am in love with your style and the piles of books and old furniture and all the lovely greens and yellows you use all through your gorgeous home. Thank you for inviting us in! I needed some inspiration badly. And I can never get the inspiration I need from more minimal decorators(even though I am one myself😊).
Every season of life brings different reasons to lean towards minimalism or embrace maximalism...neither one is better or worse than the other...just different and appropriate for different people at different times of life. Minimalists don't need to be guilted for paring down, and maximalists don't need to be guilted for bringing more of what might bring joy into their lives. I think there's room for all of the different styles! I personally have gone min and max at different times for different reasons. Both are great...I think people should just do what personally brings them joy and happiness right now.
Whether one is a minimalist or maximalist, being successful in achieving a beautiful, interesting, and pleasing home involves talent, work and vision. Angela, you have succeeded in every way. Love your gardens and all you have done in your home. Thank you!
Hello, Lovelies! Happy Weekend! No sponsor today, but we welcome you to remember: 1. You can come to Paris with me - learn more here: www.parisiennefarmgirl.com/pariswithangela/ 2. Join my OLD WORLD DESIGN SOCIETY - www.parisiennefarmgirl.com/shop/
Angela, your garden is spectacular! Imagine when those climbing roses cover the arches! It’s so nice to see your gorgeous home. All the colours and details make me happy. I just watched, “Why Beauty Matters” and I loved it.
Maximalism....LOVE it! My home, where i live since 1993 is full of beautiful very much loved items. I cherish all of it. LOVE gardening and flowers. Your garden is a treat/ caress for the eyes. My garden is full of huge Dahlias at the moment. One of the best flowers you can have. They are eye catching and bloom for an exceptional long time in all forms and colors. Have a great weekend and best regards from the Netherlands!
Thank You for sharing your home. I love all of your Treasures and Style!!! The music was also a good match. I must come back and look again. Stay Blessed!
love your motto towards keeping lots of loved items and keeping the spaces clean- "i just do it. i'm not afraid of a little work." yes!!! there are just too many interesting and inspiring things to decorate with to be a minimalist! 😄
You are an exceptional woman! 👒 It looks like you’ve lived there for many decades, yet it’s only been 5 years? 🌺🍃 You are surrounded with so many fabulous collections and interesting curiosities 📚 🕰 I like to pause the video to enjoy them closely and individually. Big hugs from Australia, where it is winter right now 🌨
Maximalist here too!!! I love to find all the treasures that people discard like it's trash. I've found gold watches, sterling silver flatware, 100 year old treasures, love thrifting and second hand stores. We don't get near the water you guys get to maintain a garden like that, I wish. Garden is amazing.
I think you went super maximalist after you read that book by that Englishman. Before that, your home was definitely French country and now it's much more English country. I would have to edit out a bit to be comfortable here. I have to do that in my own home or I feel claustrophobic. Love your gardens. If I could have one thing of yours it would be your land, I love it. I would love to have seen the bedrooms too!!!! Thank you for the tour!
I’m trying to make my “new build” feel older… I continue to add copper pieces and vintage pictures in our kitchen, as well as I have vintage baskets hanging on our family room wall… all thanks to you. Oh… and the garden is magical! ❤ Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much Angela! Such a charming home and delicious garden! Love all your decor! I am also a maximalist of the bohemian persuasion, and so love it. Now I need more walls lol. Garage!!! plans for the garage for sure, as I want is as a giant potting shed lol. Abiento
We need you Angela…..Your beautiful sense of “Things”…..Things we love…..Cherish and add Richness….Culture…..Class….Art…..My Goodness….Who invented….Living with “Nothing”…..(After the show…Hoarders….Came out)….Hey….We all aren’t Hoarders….Where would I have been without my Aunts collection of Hummel….Which I enjoyed immensely growing up…..Angela….Your Home is Stunning….We need you and enjoy you!…..Valerie❤️🌼😀
Oh Angela, what a Treat to be invited in to your beautiful Old World Home!!! 💕💕💕💕💕. I LOVE your Collection of Old Oil Paintings and your Old Books! 📚📒📗📙🎨🖌️🖼️. That Drawing Room gets me every time! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Love it love it,!!! Inspires me to keep my stuff and enjoy every bit of it. Living a lived in home with treasures you enjoy is an honor - I want a home not a show place. Thanks for all your inspiration- Lorna
Hi Angela, every time I see a piece of art on your wall, it inspires me. When you go room to room, I can’t wait to see your next find. The garden is heavenly! The conservatory must be amazing in the winter months.
I notice over time you have brought more and more colour into the rooms. I really like what you have done 💙🧡💚💛❤ The garden is beautiful but I don't envy the cutting back and division of the perennials 😅 Well done you 👏
Angela, you make "maximalism" look so clean and classy. Well thought out. Appreciate your beautiful flower gardens. I think I need to make a twig tripod for my (one) rose plant. Looks supportive and good to the eye.
Angela, It is absolutely incredible how much you have accomplished both in your garden and home. This is such a highlight video we all look forward to. Christmas is right around the corner, can't wait for that addition!
Hi Angela, Your garden look vibrant with all the rain. You’ve definitely gone more English layers than French country. I really like layers but need somewhere to rest the eye in each room. Great we can all pick n choose our vibe!
One of my favorite videos that you've done. Wow...i cant believe you've done all this in 5yrs!!! I love it all...but your kitchen and garden transport me to another time. Brava Angela!!
Perfection. And i mean every letter in that word, because you encompassed me at 41, my oldest daughter at 16 and my youngest at 9. WHO does that?! Love it! Beautiful tour, beautiful design, beautiful style. Total chef's kiss. Our review is a unanimous " its that 'homey' that sucks you in with the intoxicating aroma of old books and fresh coffee, wraps you in a welcoming hug and settles you in for fresh baked bread, and a relaxing afternoon tucked away in some corner in a chair that was made for staying and a book you cant close. That ' homey' that makes you long for home while on a gorgeous vacation" 😍
One thing I've learned by watching and listening to you is to decorate in "collections" (if you have them)... ie 3 mirrors instead of 1. All of your pitchers displayed on a high shelf instead of 1, etc. It looks so much better now that I decorate and display like this!
Absolutely Beautiful! (although I don't know how you keep all the "maximalist" rooms clean!🤷♀️) I especially delighted in seeing your blue & white dishes & bowls...a personal favorite.
Angela the garden is so lovely and I like your vintage wicker painted in the Monet green. You should feel so accomplished at all you and your family have done to make your home into a French Chateau. I enjoyed seeing all the paintings , mirrors, lighting and china you have artfully collected. Magnifique🌹🗼
Love the tour. Thank you for sharing and inspiring. I spy you Johnson Brothers Christmas...I have them too. Glad you're getting rain. Catching up on your podcast and heard your in a drought. We are too here on Central Whidbey. Normally dry J/A... been dry since May. Love your gardens. 2nd grandbaby born this year 2 weeks ago. Has helped with empty nest struggles. Appreciated what you and Shayne shared on your children getting older. Been there and it's the hardest thing when the house is quiet and empty... hubby at work. Beautiful home.
I love your cozy home. I love having my home filled with things I love and adore. I'm always so happy looking at my pictures, plants and bookcases filled with books and decor ...I think it is a very friendly place to be. I love how you show your style.
We are so similar yet just different styles except in the kitchen. To me I see a home and a family that lives there rather then resides. I have been watching for years and still go back and watch favorite episodes... The best in my opinion is your "fridge". More people should learn to live in their homes rather then just sleep there. Looking forward to following for years to come.
Thank you so much Angela for sharing your beautiful home and garden with us. I can't get over the rate of growth in your garden. It's incredible. I'm a maximalist too. Every object in my home means something to me and has a story to tell. It's about 9 am here in Melbourne, Australia so I'd better get out of bed and do some dusting. A bientot. X
What a wonderful video! And I can remember in spring you were so stressed over your garden and now it is absolutely stunning!! The house is so vibrant, homey, and inviting ❤❤❤
Just divine! You have curated perfection! And I love the musical transition from garden to interior! I so appreciate the high quality, artistic videos that you create.
Your gardens get more and more beautiful-this late summer is always my favorite time to see them, when everything is lush and bursting its boundaries. And the rain…how did you manage that perfection? Sunny days are beautiful, but I live in the Arizona desert, and a gentle rain (not like our monsoons) is still my favorite. I don’t care how many times I watch a home tour video, if you never changed anything, I would still watch avidly. Is the pale celadon, channel-backed, velvet chair in your living room ‘new’? I don’t think I remember seeing it before. That’s probably one of my favorite style of chair-they’re usually so comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing your home again and hope you have a wonderful end to your summer! ❤
It's great to see someone who does not suffer from the Perfectionism Disease to proudly show off their home to others. Lived in, well worn, well loved, comfortable design is wonderful! I see beauty everywhere in your home!
I like that discription "perfectionism disease."
I appreciate that so much. Thank you.
Oh my gosh YES ! I love your comment…perfectionism drives me nuts!!
Amen to that!
I agree! So sick of seeing everything perfect. Life is messy, and fun and livable. Our home should be too. Within reason of course. 😂😂😂
Hard to believe it's only been five yrs. You've been a busy lady. It's all lovely, from the garden to the interior. Best wishes.
A night tour of the garden and the house would be GREAT!
What I love most about your house is that it is the very essence of life. I can actually feel your passion, love and family which are all celebrated and cherished within its walls. Thanks so much for sharing!❤
I enjoy the Maximalist style. Always a pleasure to peek in. You rocked your kitchen. Loved it.
Glad you enjoyed it!💋
Oh Angela, it's just beautiful. You have such a gift for creating a home. Truly breathtaking.
As a minimalist, I thoroughly enjoy your style and home. You inspire a lot of what I do in my home. I just do it on a smaller scale. Literally, my house is much smaller. I ain’t afraid to do a little work to be surrounded by the things I love! Love that
I adore the big green bird cage! and the little colorful birds in it are beautiful.
Whether one is a minimalist or maximalist, being successful in achieving a beautiful, interesting, and pleasing home involves talent, work and vision. Angela, you have succeeded in every way. Love your gardens and all you have done in your home. Thank you!
You have everything to look old world! Just beautiful ❤️

Beautiful! You’re my “spirit animal” ! ❤😊
Dear Angela, Thank you so much for this momentary escape. 💐 Absolutely delightful. Hugs 💞
Angela it’s just enchanting. Cezanne would have adored your garden. You made my day
Such a beautiful tour! Your gardens are stunning.

Curious to which Englishman's book you refer? 🤔
Maybe referring to Robert Kime?
@@deannarabe7499 thanks! I had no clue. Angela has talked about many books. I'll check his out. His is probably one of the few I don't own. 🙄😊
Interesting, so beautiful, so comfy….love your home!!!😊😊😊
You have a lovely garden and home, and have done wonders with the space in five years.
I’m trying to make my “new build” feel older… I continue to add copper pieces and vintage pictures in our kitchen, as well as I have vintage baskets hanging on our family room wall… all thanks to you. Oh… and the garden is magical! ❤ Thank you for sharing!

Most unique home I've seen here on utube! Love it!
It was an utter delight! And your gardens make me sigh. Enchanting.
Beautiful Home! And Maximalist unite!! It is a house with a soul, which a house with barely anything in it seems cold and uninviting.
Well said!
Love it love it,!!! Inspires me to keep my stuff and enjoy every bit of it. Living a lived in home with treasures you enjoy is an honor - I want a home not a show place. Thanks for all your inspiration- Lorna
