tiny_ lemon does it matter if I’m part Latvian but not fully
You guys are great at what you do. Always so full of energy and very respecting of other cultures. Keep up the good work! :)
Honestly - we in Latvia don't eat all that strange staff...
iviviv80 stuff*
ei dirst geij Staff*
Heiters69 gej* un vārdam staff ir pavisam cita nozīme. ^_^
Would reply in latvain but can't speak it :( anyway yea what is this food?
ksenija _kk i live in the other side of Latvia and I even don’t know what was the last bee thing they tried. 😂
it's so nice to see people from around the world to come to Latvia and love our food and landscapes! that makes me even more grateful to be Latvian!!
Binge watched most you guys videos over the last two weeks. Loving it all so far, please keep going!!!
Found these guys by accident i,m the same once you,ve seen 1 have 2 keep watching
+Alex Graham that's so cool, thanks for watching!
Honey and garlic might seem strange, however if you add tomato sauce and chilli you have the perfect BBQ glaze or rib sauce.
I could see that! Yeah I think on it's own it's just a bit much 😄 - Eric
The Endless Adventure Garlic and honey is a perfect remedy for cold. We used to mix grated garlic and honey at home and use it as a medicine whenever we got a cough or cold. It might be strong but it works. ;) I don’t know anyone who takes it for pleasure though 😄
Many Chinese restaurants serve batter-fried shrimp with a honey and garlic sauce and this honey garlic mixed with balsamic vinegar would definitely make a great glaze on chicken or ribs. Latvians take honey very seriously and buy from local beekeepers.
Stop, Gordon Ramasay is here
I live in that city and it's so awesome watching them explore everything and try out our food. I've actually worked in that company with those chips and cookies.. it's so awesome
you have have good channel here, have viewed some of your videos, but I just had to comment on this one since I live close by Cēsis and have helped with production of few of the products you tried and it was fun to see what you thought of them. I was happy to see that you liked them. It's really surprising (and cool) to see random Americans just trying something I helped to produce. Kudos to you. (+ regarding your other video Black Riga Balsam is more popular with coffee than blackcurrant but each their own)
Disappointed tbh :/ thought they'd be trying actual Latvia food like bread pudding and debesmana (soo good) and cold soup and grey peas and piragi and honey cake 😋😋😋
What about the delicious Pelmeni?
Always take a bus to Cesis as you'll see so much more of Latvia's countryside than on the train and you'll pass through the quaint town Sigulda.
I'm so glad you visited my hometown! Cheers to you guys for showing Cēsis to the world!
Bro i am from latvia i am happy when people are wisiting our contry
i love how you guys get drunk and have fun :)
you are sooo natural and chill!
😂 👍
latvian snacks? I live in latvia and ive never had those
The same🤦♀️
Eric's facial impressions when he eats foods he clearly doesn't like are hilarious, but his so polite :)
Hah yeah I try not to be too judgmental, but sometimes my faces tells the truth more than my words 😂 - Eric
Ooo jaa,es esmu no Seesiiim :) :) :)
I wish I had this opportunity to travel like you have 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
The fried rye garlic bread sold in bulk bins in most Latvian grocery stores would taste good dipped in the honey.
Greetings from Somerset UK! I love the sound of Latvian food, but the veggie crisps (or chips) are awesome, and available commercially here in the UK (although very expensive). We make them quite often, because although deep fried, they are usually dropped onto kitchen paper and don't retain a lot of oil. If you make them yourself ( a mandoline is the best way to cut them), you can use virtually any dense vegetable: even cabbage and kale stalks, if cut thin enough, fried and sprinkled with caraway seeds, are spectacularly good.
I'm Latvian & I haven't tried half of those snacks. :D
Hey im also living in Latvia, checkout my channel too :)
The woman in that garlic store looked very scandanavian.
Thank you. Wish to visit Estonia and Latvia but in the meantime your Vlog was like a mini visit.
Thanks for sharing your trip to Latvia, another world!, unbelievable, never knew what all of these countries were like, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, not as backwards as I would have ever imagined. Great video clip.
Nikita's spiel on the garlic and honey had me chuckling
us too 😂
When you come to England you should try traditional grey peas (pronounced gray pays) and bacon in the west midlands (the black country mainly) but it's normally only available in a few places and mainly around October November for bonfire night. Check out the black country museum and the Dudley canel boat trips! I'm local to there if you guys ever need a hand. Enjoy Romania!
We have a traditional dish of grey peas here in the Black Country (the industrial heart of England) which is a kind of thick pea soup with bacon in too, served with freshly baked buttered bread it is delish an very unique to the area.
We'll have to try it if we're ever out that way!
Love watching you eat different foods! 😂
I'm Latvia and I have never eaten or even heard of the stuff you've had. Mabey try our amazing range on Laima chocolate. Or our ice creams. Or Ādažu crisps. You know, the things we actually regularly eat though gray peas and bacon is something we eat often and that thing he was having looks familiar.
Love your videos! Keep up the good work. :)
I have eaten all of these snacks because I lived in Latvia for 11years now I live in latvia

You guys are fantastic!
+mwdickens right back at ya! ✌️
I’ve seen veggie chips in US, but none that look THAT good. Wish that shop was in Michigan!
What fun it was to watch that! Those whacky snacks in the deli. I thought you should have washed it all down with another small glass of Balzams. Ten out of ten for your your spirit of adventure.
You should visit other side of Latvia (Latgale region). Hugely different place.
I've been on those trains it's somtimes really empty. ...like the time there
Okay, I'm a fully ethnic latvian who emigrated to The U.K because the paycheck is pretty low there! When you retire you dont even get loans after you retire! These snacks are watering my mouth aswell..
I’m from Latvia and I haven’t herd of the foods you’ve eaten
Ha! Eric you are a trooper to try all that stuff...but the vein that pops on your forehead when you don't like something gives you away! I have had truffle honey which is wonderful, I will now search out garlic honey, if I find it in the US I will buy you some because you loved it soooo much! heehee! stay safe
Hahaha! I think he would die if he tried truffle honey 😖 what a crazy combination! But if you like it, then you'll almost definitely love garlic honey 👍
Love love love... Food looks similar to what my Slovenian grandmother would make.... Garlic in EVERYthing
Oh ya, so much garlic!!
do you have a place to make a "one time" contribution ?
Nikita is looking like Burt Reynolds with that mustache!
+Lisa Ahrendt hah, he does actually!

Im from latvia love it here, i live in the town Sigulda
I visit Latvija on a regular base ; it is a great and proud country. Recently I was in Sigulda and this beautiful place stole my heart. I consider to move over there some day. You must be very lucky to live there. Respect from The Netherlands.

Do they have an online store? It would be fun to try the garlic honey candies.
+Andrea Tribo - Just Google 'Kimene Cesis'. Best of luck!
Looks like they don't. But you can ask them on their fb page, maybe they will send you some!
yumm that would be cool!
I'm sure that most of that stuff would like me! That candies and products look interesting and so cool, hope you can taste more despite flavor, hugs guys.
Haha, even though we didn't love everything, we definitely enjoyed the experience :) Hopefully you get to try some of the snacks one day for yourself! And if so, you'll have to let us know what you thought 👍
Those peas didn't look authentic, but still looked good 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I've basically never tried any of those snacks and I'm Latvian 😂😂😂 (Well I have tried the candies but not with garlic and honey soooooo yeah)
I am happy that you write Latvia right
Thanks for latvian video
Lol that faaace 7:55! 😂
Those garlic candys are my FAVORITE p.s. im from latvia
The thumbnail said that the Latvian food is weird. I find that very offensive
awww, so cool!! greetings from Latvia! ♥
🙋
Sweet garlic hmmmm not sure, good for trying it though
makes a good cough drop
I've tried them. If confusion had a taste, that would be it :D
Garlic flavoring isn't really used a lot in our cooking. It is usually an additive, so I'd imagine that's the half of it
I living in Latvia! Es dzīvoju Latvijā!
I want to try the bee thing lol
I am from Latvia 😁
how do the sunflower seeds stick to the beet chips? also, what is the bee bite (musty and tangy)?
Love you guys
It’s fun to see people say Cēsis as Cesis basically because they don’t know how to say the ē 😂👏🏻
The host in the store made a mistake. The tongue dosent have flavour zones. All flavours can be tasted across the whole of your tongue!
I live near Cēsis ..🤟🏼
You guys should visit Lithuania as well! ;)
11.30 that food looks so good 🤪
Nice
I am from latvia , Kolka
I've never eaten anything from the video, although I'm Latvian. 😂😂
I love you guys, You make me want to travel so bad 😓 But unfortunately it's just little trips for now. First stop Amsterdam hopefully get some of them tasty looking little pancakes you guys had! :P
Alice Day you will love Amsterdam Alice, beautiful city
I went there two year ago but feel like I didn't get the full experience this time I shall!!! 😁
If you want to tour one of the major galleries, go early. First time I went in the afternoon and there was a giant queue. Second time I went at opening time and there was no queue. The Van Gough is a really cool gallery.
Sweeeet Thanks :)
+Alice Day thanks so much. Any travel is better than no travel! 😄 have a great time in Amsterdam!
Go to ludza....late but go
ksenija _kk limbaži ir labāki😉👍🏻

Hey guys, can you let me know the exact track that is playing at the start, can't find it on the Soundcloud links you provided
Yaaa

I am a latvian and i neveer in my whole life heard that candy (garlic one)
Lemberg shots! :D
Cēsis !!
Great freaking hair. How do you keep it up while traveling? Same with Nate from Kara and Nate
Cēsis 💕💕💕
You say "Cēsis" a little differently. The letter 'c' for us is pronounced like 'ts'. ( for example how you would pronounce cats) so its the 'c' or 'ts' first, 'ē' is just a longer e and the rest is just normal.
m from Latvia!!!
Try cold suip
Im from Latvia its the best
I live there😂😂❤️❤️
Hi Guys,do you have the name of the restaurant please? Looks gorgeous x
+I love Animals - I'm guessing, but I think you'll find that restaurant is the 'Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs'.
Yes that's the place.
Great Vlog again!! I'm subbed and here to stay for all the great content. I would really love if you could check out my vlogs and let me know what you think!
