The number of cars which actually feature a manual transmission is staggeringly low though. So they did not focus on functioning clutches. It does support H shifting, and has a 1:1 accurate wheel support aswell. Meaning the in-game character will rotate the wheel fully along with you, one of the only games I've seen this in. It will be very difficult to acquire a digital copy as the game was delisted last year due to licensing issues.

That lightning, lighting, brightnes, and rain effect, so realistic, ive been in the similiar location (around the montain) and have same weather, and they look exaclty like this, i can feel how the temperature, how dark even it still noon when i was in there, how surrounding get wet, damnn feels like i really in there.
@@4biddenflow The development studio evolution does not exist anymore. Sony closed them after Driveclub in 2016. I think most of them are now working for Codemasters, so, there isn’t really anyone around to do the patching/porting of the game.

I doubt it. Sony probably wants Gran Turismo to be their flagship sim racer. Drive club 2 will end up canabalising GT’s popularity and sales if it were to be a thing. They’ll probably make it an arcade racer in order to stand out from GT.

This game is super underrated. DRIVECLUB still to this day has the best looking rain physics in a racing game and from a visual standpoint is still ASTONISHING for a 6 year old game on a 7 year old console! It truly proved the power of the PS4, and seeing it on the PS5 (sadly offline and discontinued) is a blessing none the less. This game had probably some of the most realistic reflections and shadows, even before Ray tracing, and still it KILLS the competition because everything is so focused on the car, detail, and the scenery and weather effects. This game truly has a special place in the hearts of people who have played it over the years, and Sony was heartless enough to kill of evolution studios and only a few of the people have a job at codemasters. I’ve just installed this on my PS5 (which I’ve only had about a month) and all I can say is that the graphics hold up remarkably well, especially the weather effects. I deliberately haven’t synced my old PS4 save as I want to go through all the events again (inc the bikes dlc). Just a shame we won’t get a 60fps patch.

This game is still my fav racer of all time right next to motorstorm. It only had a bad launch bc online MP wasnt ready and the weather effects came in a later update, if this game was delayed a bit more it would have done much better. Will go back and play 😀

even forza or GT can't come close to the amount of detail and lighting realism this game has.
Sony is still stupid for shutting down this studio, the potential for a Driveclub 2 or even another Motorstorm title on PS5 just makes me upset
NOT Remastering the MOTORSTORM games is the biggest mistake they made!! Maybe Bluepoint can redo them...I've waited for years now, still nothing ;o(
