Here's the truth! The IRS sees that car you won as taxable income! So, if you win a 1968 Camero SS that costs 160,000 dollars, then the IRS charges you 30% which is 54,000 dollars 💀. Now come up with the money quick to avoid prison...
Usually the car comes with cash to cover the taxes, and if it didn’t they can just sell the car, pay the taxes then buy a cheaper version , I’d personally buy a rental property then get the car and let the property pay the car note
Still kinda wish you couldve gone out NJ to go meet Justin and the crew, they were super cool to hang out with. Gtr is still awesome but down ATM with a blown clutch master
There’s a few give aways here in Australia with guys giving away GTR’s, Evos etc, the tickets are only $10 but I don’t know if it’s even worth it because you get guys probably buying 100x tickets just to have a higher chance vs someone like me buying 5-10 tickets to enter, I don’t know, I want to enter but at the same some guy 3 mins away from my house literally won a turbo wide body 86 and I have no idea how many tickets they buy
Thanks for the responses everyone but honestly surprised you all think I was paid for this 😂😂 I ended up basically paying tax twice on it (title and at the end of the year) and it was gone pretty quick after owning it. Made some money but meh.
I saw your video & went to their website & was looking at past winners because I want to enter & some dude from my town won one. I’m definitely going to bookmark their website & start entering every month. How many points do you think would be reason to actually win?….
@@augustineg1497well I paid taxes on the car (value of car based on MSRP). End of the year I get another W form for winnings and had to pay tax again on that value. There was no cash involved in me winning so that was out of pocket twice plus the transport fee
🤝 🤑 lets goooo

I bought a $45 mug. Which equaled 1 entry I guess

So you have to go and get the car after you win it? Also, were the taxes rough?
I did have to do both
Yo! Thanks for the info man!
What was your mindset like leading up to the callback?
That it wasn’t going to happen at all because I don’t win 😂

4:00
I would sell the car and take the cash
I did
Did you pay taxes upfront?
End of the year and title fees
lol right you just happen to have the called recorded and the car was in the dude name not the company
Why wouldn’t I start recording on the second call?
Hey I just looked on the prime driven website and searched the past winners. I don’t see you or the 05 Audi S4 listed. Why is that??
Hes on the prime driven daily website
@Giveaway80eighty
Was prime driven daily
I'll give ya 5 buckaroos for that mug tho 👀
what do they base the taxes on, the market value of the car?
What would make a person ineligible
Probably living outside of the country is being given away in
Are you from the south of england
I’m from the upper peninsula of Michigan lol
He better have one 😂 a 45 dollar mug 😮
So, were the taxes manageable?
By the end of it I got totally shafted at the end of the year lol.
@@MylesMoncalieri Oof. So if planned accordingly it might be worth it? Been trying to win for a bit and just thought I would ask
