I believe this pickup has a cord meant NOT to go through the bottom endpin hole… did you just run that cable through the bottom, or is there some kind of adapter you are using or have made? Thank you.

The cord from the pickup goes to the endpin hole so basically it is just one cable from the pickup.

How does this compare with the K&K trinity system? Which one do you prefer?

I think K&K Trinity is more natural sounding compared to Fishman Rare Earth. Rare Earth is great especially when I do looping because it has clarity, but still it is a magnet pickup so sounds like magnet still.
