Maybe it’s because Ratchet is involved in a War between Galactic rangers and Thyrrannoids, meanwhile the first two were more like an old school adventure, especially the first one.
I kinda wish this was saved for the Nefarious fight, it’s intense tempo and massive string+horn ensemble as it swells higher and higher, as the trumpets play the leitmotif of the hero, would be a great addition to the slogging, intense battle as you face up against an army of Juggernauts and Troopers and fight the final boss.

This is one of my favourite tracks in the whole game. It’s exciting, exhilarating, and it adds an atmosphere of excitement and exhilaration into battle. It helps make it all the more fun.
See, this right here, this gets you hyped up to -right- fight. The new Ratchet composers can't get you turned up like David could. Edit one year later: I didn't realize I wrote "right" instead of "fight" a year ago. Dang autocorrect. But I guess everybody got what I meant.
has anyone noticed how 0:38 reuses the melody from the unused todano interior track from the second game? i found that a cool homage to one of the best songs in RaC 2 being completely unused
This doesnt works because you have to fight against the Aliens to came further in the game on this planet. Because the end of the last mission triggers the cutscene were the giant steel-door is bloing up.
Slept on the ranger missions so hard as a kid. Never liked them. Replayed as an adult, and they hit different. They’re actually really fun? Found out so very late you get a trophy for clearing all of them, lol
If you listen closely at the start of this song the hallowing instrument was previously used in crystal island in spyro 3 and both levels were on a island
This part was an example of the low effort they put into the game, literally used a multi map and do trash missions again and again and ruins the song after being replayed over and over
Flutteran Master They were meant as side quest. It did little to affect the actual story and meant it as a way to get extra money and a gadget. It wasn’t meant to have much time put into the section of this game. A mission or two, leave, continue on with the story. If you wanted extra money and an item, do the rest. I personally liked it mainly because of the soundtrack and the hovership mission.
@@noxi6045 Same here Noxi. For me personally, I had a blast doing these challenges. And with some pushing me to the absolute limits back when I was a kid, It was just so kickass.
Oh just stfu, I'm tired of seeing you hate on every R&C3 OST video. It's ok to hate a game but spreading hate on literally every fucking video is unacceptable just go and play the first 2 games if you like them sm. Imo the galactic rangers missions are much better than those space battles in the 2nd game.
Thinking back, this game has a more tense soundtrack than the first 2 games.
What does it mean if a comment is "highlighted"?

That makes sense. Thank you.
Those shitty Ratchet and Clank games in the newer graphics weren't worthy of David's music

It wouldnt fit that good
It did actually get played at one part near the end of the fight.
They're called Mega Bots, not Juggernauts 😛
All of the Ranger missions were SO FUN, including the optional ones
Yeah. Well, except the ones on Metropolis in my opinion.
all of them except the turret sections. Fuck turret sections in R&C games

The lovably incompetent Galactic Rangers.

Man, how did I forget about this music? It's got to be one of the best in the game, and the one that sums up R&C3 better.
I haven't played this game in a couple of years and this song just randomly popped into my head lol
These battles with the troopers were SOO MUCH fun!!!
Along with the entire planet, this was the only time the Tyhrranoids were actually on the defensive. And it felt GOOD.

everything is so generic nowadays
@@pjweaver8496 I really hate to agree with this but it's true. Rift Apart is a little better but still doesn't quite match up to David.
Ever been skydiving while being shot at?
Then this is the track for you!
Just thought it might have sounded like it would be in that scenario ;-;
Well uh, that happens several times in this game, fun fact.
Never sky dived, or been shot at. At least in real life. But it sounds intense.
i like this little side mission
Okay, who thinks when the music goes like this 1:29 meaning Ratchet is going in full Kick-@$$ mode!? :D
amazing song. thats all there is to it.
Experience of a lifetime, i just put this in the radio while hiting 150km/h on the highway. Am i gonna do it again in a bigger car ? Definitely.

Just saw your comment on the Todano video, I agree!
my favorite song in my favorite game
0:38 x 1:04 Epic
This is so dynamic and nervous ! Makes you wanna explode EVERYTHING !
They're everywhere!
"This place is crawling with Noids!"
Well, it is the Tyhrranoids' home planet after all.
favourite from the entire game x)
This is one of the only levels where you should wait until endgame to fully complete

Yeah but the ranger missions are fuck off hard on this level, at least for me they were
The constant buzzing at 0:10 makes it peak
That sound at the beginning was also used in the beginning of the soundtrack "Parasitic Evil (Jokatgulm Battle)" from Devil May Cry 2.
@thelombax2002 It may not be a good game but it does have good music.
2022, still favourite soundtrack
INSANE RATCHET AND CLANK !!!! 2022 !!!!
I wish David still made the music for Ratchet and Clank

This song is perfect for the Q Force
If you listen closely at the start of this song the hallowing instrument was previously used in crystal island in spyro 3 and both levels were on a island
Now I realized that they reused the same theme of the unused song of Going Comando at 0:39
The Galactic Rangers were the best side faction ❤

this ost is quantity over quality and it sucks
