I like to cook green beans in a cast iron skillet with some good bacon and mushrooms. A bit of salt and freshly ground pepper complete the dish! Yummy 😊
I wish you would've uploaded this video last year! I had so many green beans growing in my garden! xD Not sure i'll do green beans THIS year they're kinda a pain to remove once the growing season passes!
I cooked this tonight to accompany baked fish fillets and rice pilaf. I knew how good it would be so I can't say I'm surprised. The combination of fennel and cumin seeds always catches my attention. I put in a slosh of Henderson's Relish instead of balsamic vinegar (due to inventory limitations), which is maybe weird, but I liked it.
That gives the old green bean a sassy attitude. Looking good and I bet it's great!

I do green beans and ham hock in my crockpot. I like to roast them in oven too
ham hocks! ...I miss those...my mama used to cook them up with white beans when I was a kid ...I remember them being kinda decadent
