  • Carrie inquired about Bois D Arc khukuri. I decided she should have a khukuri with this wood. Video is just to show her how the wood is cut from a log By Hand.

    That wood don't even rot when put in the ground. Cut lots of it in Missouri .

      @@carrielopez6548 I'm sure the steel is very tough. Hedge is very very hard wood. It's used for fence posts and corner posts . Put it in the ground and it gets harder. Doesn't rot. Hottest burning wood there is. Burns like coal. Impressive stuff.

      @@carrielopez6548 yes. Some states have no idea what it is. Arkansas, Missouri , Kansas , Indiana and Pennsylvania are a few places it grows. Isn't native to the country. Was used as a natural barrier. Very tuff stuff. Indians used it for making bows.

      I sold it for firewood in Missouri. Has small nasty thorns on it. Is bright yellow when first cut then seasons out to an orange color. That's how it got one of it's many names called Osage orange. The big green hedge apple balls that grow in it people use to repell bugs and other critters.
