Beautiful Traditional Japanese joinery / Woodworking tips

Tokin gumi is a beautiful traditional Japanese joinery in which two pieces of wood are processed without being separated and joined together in an upper and lower cross shape.It's a bit of a tricky technique, but when it's joined together it becomes a very beautiful joint.
