- The Doxology Vocal Ensemble represents a unique “sound of Southern” both here on campus, in churches around the US, and in colleges throughout the US. Doxology sings a wide variety of styles including a cappella jazz, gospel, modern, contemporary, and traditional. This 16-member vocal team represents countries from around the world and across the US. Most of the students are preparing to serve the church through the ministry of music and worship.

So sorry for the loss of your beloved spouse. I lost my dear husband of 48 years over three years ago. Losing a spouse is something we never get over but with God’s help the healing process enables us to get through each day! I believe every student at Southern or Boyce College has to take a broad range of theology and biblical studies courses. Most of the members of this ensemble are likely music majors of some sort. As other comments pointed out, this is not an original arrangement but it is very well done.

They are very talented. I would love to listen to them for hours. However, it IS VOCTAVE'S arrangement note for note. Unlike VOCTAVE they don't have the ability to hit the soprano high notes that VOCTAVE does. And, if you're going to cover a song it is better to do so by making it your own and not a straight knock-off of the masters. Keep it up though. With some time and maturity you'll be masters too!
