I get what he is saying I dont bench. As a guy in his mid 40s I dont do flat barbell press anymore. Decline is fine and dumbell flat is fine but other movements hurt a little so they arent worth doing. Doesnt bench does not = doesnt work out.
I love how they don’t show a full view of the bench press because they have someone on the other side helping if needed. You can see a guy walking away in the mirror.
@@orenkeithley5324 By *most people* lol nope. Most sporty gym goers who naturally have more strength than average then yes, very achievable. But that's with LOTS of training. *Very few* men, a miniscule percentage in fact, could bench 320lbs without training the bench press or at least training a similar type movement.

When he said that was my max he was referring to his previous lift which he just did 315 i believe, and 315 was a struggle.

I don't bench press either. Street workout and dip 120kg and I was able to hit 315lbs bench my first time as well.
