In my personal opinion, Akuma Kira's Getting There is by far one of the scariest soundtracks in Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, because it really nails the desolate feeling of being alone, with the only thing keeping you company is a previous explorer before you who succumbed to the parasite loose inside the labs and wants nothing more than to have you join it.

In Specimen 10's death screen, there is also a binary code message that translates to: "You are more than just an animal. Use the soul you've been given, And be responsible for your actions."
This thing chased me three separate times from room 610 to 700, including when it spawned for the first time. At this point I've just started calling it "friend." Also as soon as I escaped it the first time, the very next room it showed up again. It just really likes me I guess.
This song brings back such bad memories... Walking slowly and backwards to ensure I wouldn't get too far from that damned alien-like thing, and if I got too close, epilepsy attack and heart races... trying to run from the f*cker, only for him to turn into a worm, chase me down and kill me... I swear, that motherf*cker...
I once played this in a car in an empty field at night and felt like the old specimen 10 was chasing us and we were driving away. One of the best soundtracks in my opinion.

I used to hate this specimen, I MEAN ABSOLUTELY DESPISE. But over how many times I've had to take him for walks he's really grown on me (Pun intended) now I think he's adorable and I get so happy when he rechases.
I feel bad for Old Specimen 10. They weren't really bad at all, they were just being controlled by New Specimen 10, and they are ultimately killed once New Specimen 10 pops out of their skull.
I adore this thing, and I'm not just saying that because of my obsession with parasites. That uncanny, almost-humanoid design with a melted torso consumed in growth with a sideways flytrap mouth erupting out from the chest like a sarcastic fringehead... it's beautiful and horrifying. That, and you're forced to babysit it. You're forced to constantly play chicken with a deadly extraterrestrial parasite. Too close, you get bitten. Too far, their leech/lamprey form comes out of their host to assimilate with you, who has no chance of outrunning it. Which also means you get to experience the cool infection-induced hallucinations and look at them up close! 10 and 7 are both my favorites, but if I had to pick one from a design standpoint of the Specimen itself, excluding the rooms that go along with them... I'd pick 10. I even based a character off of them!

Actually yeah,it can have stomach. but where? if he has a mouth on his belly he should have a little stomach when his genitals supossed to be,or something like it. like,it would be in where a human mouth sould be,or something like it. i dunno. or maybe he has a SUPER duper MEGA HYPER giant back or something
The OSTs fit the specimens like a glove, and this is one of the best ones, it feels almost like a distant siren blaring warning about an escaped creature of high mortality, but its far too late, its already caught up to you by the time you hear it, now you must survive
*The rising pitch and changing sounds, the faint slow and distorted sound of what once used to be a happy melody playing in the background as the distorted clicks get closer, and closer, and closer...the background music no longer is appealing or happy*
