Heard this in 2010. Didn't even know what it was. Just thought it was an insanely grimey hip hop song. Then someone told me it was dubstep. It's a indescribable feeling when you hear a new(for the us) music genre that you love for the first time. I imagine its somewhat similar to what it was like hearing Jimmy Hendrix for the first time. Incredible.
Bro you have no idea how many memories I have with this song... My cousin played it to me when I was a teen back in 2010. Been addicted to it ever since.
Used to bump this filth 24.7 with my brand new IPod touch while riding my longboard back in junior high/ throughout high school. Always with my bestfriend. We were 15, getting hella stoned listening to Bassnectar, Rusko, Excision sub focus etc. Dancing to the filth, amazing my bessfran with moves I ONLY discovered high and listening to dubstep. lmfaooo Pure Nostalgia. Hella miss these days
I went to a festival in Belgium, 2007-2008, and they had Rusko in the smallest tent. There was not enough security to get the crowd in line, so they just gave up! The sides of the tent were taken down and everybody just attacked the venue, that show was incredible!
@@FlwrCats76 hahahah im still listening to these old dubstep tracks. i think we're part of that tiny fraction of people that will enjoy this till the end of times.
OMG me too LOL i was 100% swear going over how i got into dubstep and the UK sound in general and it brought me back to this very song :D what a* sound!!
What with everybody bashing modern dubstep? Both old and new dubstep are really good! It depends on your taste. I like both so lucky me, and I'm fine with people prefering old dubstep over modern dubstep, but don't call new dubstep shit, cuz' that's not true.
Man this song showed me what dubstep was, i first heard it at Imagination 2008, my first rave alll the way in like San Bernardino! I lived like 2 hours away by car and remember saying that i was spending the night at a friend's to my mom. Good times
This was my first ever dubstep song I've heard and it was when I was in middle school, brings back amazing memories. Used to get made fun of for it now look, everybody loves dubstep. Funny how things change! Thanks for the nostalgia
maaan im looking down the comments dying of laughter at how many people shared the same moment as i did.. rusko may never know just how many people he got into dubstep with this banger.
This fizzy jam was my first introduction to the dirty wub wubs . Funny thing is, I could not remember the name “Pro Nails” until 12 years later after sitting through a UA-cam commercial about finger-“nail” polish. 😂😂 I’m so grateful that this song holds up in 2023! 🎉
I love Rusko so damn much. He’s finally coming back to Hawai‘i after so long and I know he’s gonna smash it again! ❤️ legit still one of the best artist I’ve seen any genre, PERIODT!!
Currently introducing my 6 year old and twin four year olds to electronic music and they all freaking love it. They say this song is a banger and I’ve never been more proud
SurealBlurr We all have those secrets, Im proud of you for coming out like this. There are PST (post Skrillex Trauma) meetings to get over this, your local doctor can refer you.
My friend introduced me to this song and it was the first dub song i listened to. Flash forward and I ended up seeing Rusko live, first electronic concert i went to and he played this song, super nostalgic moment! Rusko is the man!
Dank n' Dirty Dubz is about to release a 4/20 special free ep. Theres a song that i think is from Enigma Dubz, it has that special around-2009 sound from rusko and others... Totally recommend Dank n' Dirty
2021 and i just found this gem. latest at 0:27 I started to feel like this is a really old track and 1sec afterwards the bass already blew off my headphones.
Dude fucking same here! And it was also mu first time rolling on some green aliens at my homies kickback and this tune, I shit you not was playing all night cause I kept asking to replay it 🤣
They just don't make them like this anymore
ikr
Jason there’s probably a small majority that do, the problem is that they’d be *very* underground
Yo you want good dubs, I’d suggest Wakaan forsure. They’ve been steady since the OG Stranger days
dubstep tube has stuff like this
thers no wobble these days
Popped into my head after more than a decade. Still as good as it was back then
for me it was the Dark Side Dub that popped in my head two days ago, then A Millie, and then this.. my 3 favorites from that decade
All the dubstep from 2006 to like 2010 still holds the same grimey vibes it gave me back in middle school
For real 💯
Man 2014 was a wicked yeah . I used to bump this working construction.literally makes my eyes water think back to simpler times
@@VictoriousRebel man this song sound nice on my dual 18inch subwoofer no cap

What an analogy for recognition of music between da timez. Epic, underrated comment.
Yes man! This was the first dubstep track I ever heard. In an underground bar in Newport Beach, my mind was melted.

Rusko what the one to set the tone for the Golden years of Dubstep. I’d go as far and say he was one of the Pioneers of Dubstep.
I’m 13 years too late! just finding this now and been on the UA-cam wormhole for dub
I totally forgot about this one! Lol.. looking for old dubstep like ancient relics
This is truly one of the ancient relics.
ancient relics, try chase and status- eastern jam
HK119 - C'est La Vie - Rusko Remix
Flux Pavilion - How Rude
Check out these two!
Original datsik is pretty good
Mr postman (cragga remix)...anyone?
It's 2023 and this dirty, grimey, beat is still some of the sickest shit I've ever heard. 💯
Result of analog oscilators and a lot of time. Would love to see this being made.
Bring this kind of dubstep back please! 2014 was a shit year for this genre.
Totally agreed man, Rusko's finest !

When Rusko discovered Chicago and juke music! A glorious day.
