There was nothing like Boston when they came on scene in the 70's, they introduced a different and unique sound and everyone was blown away. They were extremely popular and went on the road doing concerts before they even had a record deal, that's how popular they were.
This "live" version didn't have the last refrain where they came back and sang the chorus a last time-as I recall at the Boston concert I was at in 1979, when they performed this song-after the buildup they did the final refrain with a light explosion to emphasize the payoff after the buildup.
Brad was an excellent lead singer. Sib was a fantastic drummer. Brad and Sib deserved more credit for their talents. Brad was called the nicest guy in the music business. No one said anything negative about Brad.❤
One of the first songs I ever really heard in the 70’s. It grabbed me immediately and I thought this had to be the greatest rock song ever! I still had a lot to learn but still one of my all time favorites.
Original lineup (first 2 albums): Tom Scholz - guitars/organ/clavinet/engineer/inventor/primary songwriter Brad Delp (R.I.P.) - vocals (both lead & harmonies)/rhythm guitar Barry Goudreau - guitar Fran Sheehan - bass guitar Sib Hashian (R.I.P.) - drums (also was Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's father-in-law) This music video is a radio edit (at least one minute of song was cut) with poor audio quality. You really need to listen to the original album version to fully appreciate the production quality.
Boston is really always relaxing to listen to. Great summer music. Enjoy them as often as you can Have their songs on repeat on the playlist. Nice reaction. Hope the music made your world a little brighter.
I seen this Don’t Look Back Concert Tour in 1979 I was a 15 year old punk teenager. They were so good. Great job with the channel and keep up the great work😁❤️
Unfortunately , for some reason we didn't get presentation or live performances with these original band members-on video. It was more on the music... Studio recordings , first 3 albums... Flawless !!!
Tom was the player in all the decisions. He may have wrote most of the songs, however, you have to have a great singer to bring the songs to life. Brad Delp had a fantastic voice. I would like to have seen Brad in concert. ❤
@@SueKay-rq1lr Yes ,that's my frustration with Tom Schultz. If he was able to set aside his ego... would have kept at least Barry Goudreau from that original lineup. They would be in the Rock and roll Hall of Fame today... : )) Brad Delp belongs in the Hall of Fame .
MDreeezy - Good memories with music like this! Brad Delp is the lead singer - one of the best voices in rock history. I was blessed to have Boston, Pink Floyd, Yes and many others as part of my growing up.
YES!! Boston rocks!! You're hearing all the incredible songs of my youth. I can't imagine hearing all these fantastic songs for the first time! I'm loving your channel and I'll support you!
This version leaves out some of the best parts of the song. Please listen to the studio version from their debut album. You will be so glad you did. The album version is so much better and more complex than this version. Once you have listened to the studio mix, this one will seem lacking and incomplete by comparison.
I hate when the official video is being reacted to. The songs are edited for TV/radio play. Although it looks live the song is the studio (edited) version.
This is a mix of album with crowd noise and hall reverb add for a music video, and sounds terrible. Stick to original album tracks. Also this from the 2nd album.
THE CLOUDS ARE ONLY FOR A MINUTE. DONT WORRY😅
The bass player cracks me up...he always looks like he's in a zone.

Great reactions to Boston.
Keep going and react to RockAnd Roll Band, Smokin, Peace of Mind.

Tom Shultz is the lead guitarist! Best band ever! Brad Delp has the best natural voice!
Unfortunately this is the short version of “Don’t Look Back” check out the album version of the song.

Stick to studio album. A lot was cut out
this is in mono ....not in stereo. make sure your uploads are stereo. this is bad audio quality

Got it
This is not truly live. And it cuts a good minute from the official version. Stay away from their videos from this time. Stick with audio only.
