Great concert! So much energy! The Lemons and Tangerines at the end was just pure fire!!
I loved how Scott sang "Early Morning Rain." I've heard Scott sang many songs, but this is the best I've heard him sing. Great song for you, Scott! Thank-you!
I think he may have just starting singing that as a kind of improv thing too while they were working on AJ's mando?....Can't say for sure though but it's the first time I have ever heard him sing that one so who knows?
It really says something that a band with AJ in it has other singers worth hearing.
...so worth hearing one just hopes they can hang together awhile and see how far they can go☮🐉👁
this is really unbelieveable: stage under repair, but they sing and play in perfect manner, Scott Gates - what a great musician / singer ! AJ Lee and Blue Summit - very best music!
That's one hot band there! I can't believe how tight they are on the fast stuff. I just learned what "chopping" is, and AJ is as good as it gets. That and a good bass player like Forest just set such a solid rhythm groove. These are some of the best musicians in the business! Can't get enough of my AJ & BS! Keep rockin', guys! 😊
Agreed!
I saw them the day after this show in Redmond Oregon 500 miles away at the FairWell Festival. They only were allowed to play 1 hour. But I saw last last night in Portland Oregon at the White Eagle Saloon and got the whole show . It was an intimate show in a very small club. They had a different bass player and even had a friend sit in on 2 tunes, playing clarinet on one and sax on the other. Hung out a little after show. Really nice folks. They are all so good on their instruments.
Thanks for sharing this. I love these guys.
Amazing
These guys are so good. I can listen to Sully’s interpretation of Dylan any day . AJ Lee is an
Amazing musician. All of them really. Wish they would come to Canada. ❤
Keep an eye open up there, I got to catch their shows at Cowichan Lake on Van Island last summer.
Wonderful as usual !
This was a lot of fun thanks for sharing! Bluegrass rules!
Danke for uploading/sharing this treasure. Great vocals and musicians. Support them.
Sullys voice has added something nice to it. I was always unsure about his voice...but it sure sounded awesome in Colorado Girl.
Class...
Love you guys X
Scotty broke a string at time mark 21:26 and yet went on with his solo as if nothing! Wooowww! And then on top of that AJ improvised lyrics seconds later to announce what happened! These guys are remarkable professionals, warm and just fun!
A living audience, no doubt... :)
And who wouldn't for Aissa Joelle, rarely mentioned her full name.
Ja! 👍🏻
@@DerSchleier So you noticed that too about how Jan introduced AJ by her full name....Very cool stuff! I felt like I was right there in the middle of the crowd up front. the quality of this vid is just so spectacular in every way! Thanks so much for who ever made this video and posted it! Pure magic!
The bassist here is Forrest Marowitz, not Chad Bowen. Chad played steady with the group for years but about a year ago left (aiming for more family time) and since then Forrest has been the fill-in most of the time, with about two or three others filling in as well. I understand the group is looking for a permanent bassist.
Very pretty setting. Where does the Redwood Ramble take place? Love AJ and Jan and Scott and Sully and Forrest!
Special love to Scott!
Camp Navarro in the Mendocino County, CA.
Song no. 7 (on the list of songs listed) actually was "Something Special," not "In My Bed."
