I can see why it's called the Slide. Indian Creek was gorgeous! The leaves were spectacular. Great share.

I miss walking through the leaves... Not a lot of leaves in a pine forest! What a cool ridge to walk on... Great video guys!

That is true! The pine is slowly being taken back over by the deciduous trees, but still a ton of pine. Thanks for watching Max!

I would say that you found some fantastic fall colours...thanks for sharing your adventure...adventures that your son especially will take with him throughout his life...and having been a middle-school teacher for 25 years, I could easily point out those students who would spend quality time with family...thanks for the great example....

The Devil’s Backbone would be an awesome sight! Looks like it would be a scary hike in some spots!

That little climb onto Devil's Backbone is a bit scary, but we've done it so many times now, I guess we don't even think about it. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for all of the research and effort put into your videos. It really adds to the video to understand the history and the geology.

You did capture some pretty colors. Devil's backbone was an interesting but cool formation. I can hear Hiking with Shawn saying'' look at this bluffage'' lol. Great video guys.

Devil's Backbone is a unique feature, and definitely some cool H.W.S. bluffage!! Thanks for watching!

Love that trail! In our experience, the preserves are not so easy to find out about like the big parks. We just found one close to our home we had never heard of. Beautiful - love when the leaves come floating down! Beautiful rock formations.... That poor creek - hope it comes back up! Thanks for showing us another gorgeous place to explore! Waiting to see what you show us next! 😃❤🤘

I was gifted a book many years ago about the nature preserves of Indiana. That's how I found out about this one and several others, otherwise I would have been none the wiser. That creek will roar back in the spring! Rock on!

It's been many years since I was there. I'm heading there this weekend thanks to you and catfish. You should check for paw paw fruit on your ventures I think you guys would like. Thanks for uploading

Thanks for the tip! We've seen some paw paw fruit while hiking, but never actually ate any. Hope you make it there this weekend, it's beautiful!

Why the need to speed up your video? When I go on hikes I don't go to the INDY 500.

That is the access trail to Pine Hills, I used the "time warp" feature while recording through that area, and only included it for the narration.
