I was very lucky to get this for Christmas 2012. Best set in my collection

Cute promo... I really enjoyed it, but I'm really partial to the Ultimate Edition DVD Gift Sets. When lined up in a row on a shelf, those big gold numbers really compliment the style of Jo Rowling's books. I sure hope one day, Harry Potter Years 3-7 get an Extended Version DVD treatment, even if it's JUST the extended movies shown on ABC Family, with no special features whatsoever. Sort of like the DVD Triple Pack for "Twilight", "New Moon" and "Eclipse". It wasn't fancy, but it was a quick, make-a-buck cash grab deal to satisfy the fans. If they can do it, I see no reason why Harry Potter can't do the same. With the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", I hope that gives WB a good enough excuse to just release the versions shown on ABC Family/Freeform.

I'd probably buy this if I didn't already own the first 6 Ultimate Editions. Thanks for not warning me about an even bigger collection being released when I bought the first one 2 years ago. Oh wait, they were ULTIMATE EDITIONS. Who thought there would be something bigger than Ultimate? I was also told they were "the ONLY place to see the Creating the World of Harry Potter Series". So I'll pass on this and just wait for, I don't know, the Dumbledore Collection to be released in a few years.

I actually got to be part of the design team for that massive box... We really wanted to cram a wand in there too but it just wouldn't fit without making the box even bigger. It's so surreal watching the cast marvel at this thing and knowing I was part of the team that made it.

I was able to find this at a vintage store in March 2021, but it's missing the cloth and the book!!! I'm so sad, but happy everything else came with it!!! Wish I was old enough back in 2012 so I could've gotten it when it came out
I didn't get where the 31 discs are placed into that box :P
Btw it's beautiful and a true rarity, but it currently costs 700 pounds on Amazon ...

Its not that expensive. 31 discs!! And all the extras. And the fact its Harry Potter will bump up the price. But all in all its worth it for all the little bits and bobs you get with it....
AND THE AWESOME BOX!!! :) if you want it, buy it. Dont complain about the price!
There are too many discs. They should release a version without the DVDs that're redundant with the Blu-rays.

musiclover3228 you're not alone on that. I even tried ordering a second just to see if it was any different and it wasn't I returned it. At least the rest of the set is pretty nice. At least I think so
I was part of the team that designed & produced this box and all the printed materials in it... Sadly, that's how the map's source file came to us from Warner Bros if I remember correctly. It was huge, but even blown up onscreen at full resolution there were still some details that just weren't readable. I did happen to see the maps being printed, and they didn't look particularly lighter than the source file or anything, so I think they're all going to be like that. I think it's definitely meant for hanging on a wall, not for constructing a scale replica of Hogwarts.

I went over to England at the end of 2012 and bought it! I never in my life dreamed that I would own one of these! When I watched this video in Aug 2012 this was a fantasy that would never happen, but I now have #58616 of 63000 :D
The only downside is that half of the disks are bluray and I don't have a bluray player, but the rest of it is simply fantastic! Definitely worth all of my savings :) and it looks amazing on my desk - aesthetically the box is beautiful
