Like you said I heard the bears are pretty active up there and I agree with you about the stars, Lyman is usually plan B for me if I can’t stay at cherry springs, enjoyed your down to earth chats. It was my first time seeing or camping under the dark skies. So, everything seemed crazy to me. Now, a year later and recently camping at Cherry Springs State Park. I’ve come to understand what I was seeing was Satellite’s and the milky way galaxy. Though, I did see the star link at Clear Creek later in 2023.
