Keep up with the "different" as well. I see alot of people talking trash but guns of this category are universally the best sellers for me. I refuse the sell people guns made out of crap and/or that break because of junk parts. In the end the retailer (Me) ends up loosing time and money on it. Please stay that way as I think you have a good thing going. I have yet to play with a dp12 but its probably the only bullpup twin magazine that i haven't had to work on which by its age now is a good thing.
One issue for pocket carry guns like yours and the NAA is pocket lint. Might be something to think about for a MKII version - maybe a pop-off rubbery button plug for the muzzle? I like the spring loaded feature, compared to the manual opening for the NAA holster-grip. Good luck with this innovative design, I'd be more interested in .32 ACP (once the supply issue resolves!)
I recommend the Beretta 3032. Honestly think it's the best designed pocket gun to ever exist (and is in .32ACP). It's also DA/SA, which is RARE for any pocket guns, esp that small. In all these years I don't think anyone's been able to match the design, let alone design a better gun for its size. I would recommend the older, thinner models... but the new one's are good too.
The spring loaded deployment is a definite improvement over the NAA. But since I already have a NAA I'll wait to see if there are any other improvements. Now something I would pre-order right now would be a brand new little, double action, top break, 32S&W revolver with a 2 or 3 inch barrel!!!!!
We were debating this as a potential caliber but with everything going on right now and 32 ammo being tough to find as it is chose to go with the 22 Magnum, that not to say there may not be other version coming out down the road.
Standard I am seriously considering this for my daughter. A long rifle cylinder would be great for practice and this is a weapon it would be wise to practice with.
I think the Switch gun has a much, much better folding grip than the NAA folding grips... but they are about $200 more than the cheaper (comparable) NAA models.
How is it an improvement? It's just one more step to perform to get the gun in action. The barrel length hinders it's performance significantly. You are far better off with the n.a.a.
Definitely useful. We tested it thoroughly before the launch. It is meant for very close distances like every other gun in this class. As long as it is used for its intended purpose it will not keyhole.
The reason why this switch revolver is rated so high is its trigger part is completely covered in safety, just like IC380, cell phone gun. Many safety failures of guns in the home result from the open trigger parts. Even an adult cannot immediately recognize whether its safety lock is on or off. With this type of weapon, you can keep it underneath your pillow, inside your pocket, 24/7 with zero safety failure.
Do you make them with the switch on the left as well? I'm very impressed with all of the videos I've seen, and still want to get one, but would love to have one with left-switch operation.
Yeah, a reversible switch and/or ambi switch would be a huge benefit for a lot of peoples. I would think it a "must have" if I ever designed a gun like this. (and I'm not left handed either). For many people this would be a backup gun that may need to be drawn with the left hand (like so many people set up for). If their right hand ends up being busy (like trying to retain their main weapon), they at-least have a left hand option to stop a bad guy from getting their gun.
I will be purchasing several of these but I feel that it would have been great if this gun was a double action and hammerless just as the Double Tapp derringers are. The Double Tapp derringers have moved the derringers into the future instead of the past.
Ever see the High Standard (or maybe Hi-Standard) DM-101 double action "derringer" in 22mag? I always wanted one (just as a display, not really to fire).
For those wondering......this gun is not california compliant and can not be sold or transferred by a california dealer as it is not on the california handgun roster.

As a fat man who lives in shorts and T-shirt weather year round, I recently became interested in the switch gun and started watching video's / reading reviews. The one in this video has a significantly longer barrel than the ones I have seen in review video's. I have seen .88 and .75 both quoted for the barrel length. Reviews where they actually fire the gun show many keyhole hits at anything much over point blank range, and some have said that barrel is not rifled. The ones in review video's also have slots in the barrel tip that look like you could use a large screwdriver to take the barrel out. If I could get one of these with a 2" rifled barrel vs the "flush to the frame" (smooth bore?) barrel I have seen in reviews I would order one today. If you make a 38 special version with 3 or 4 rounds I will order two of them!
I ordered one and just hope it is more accurate than the Thunderstruck, I waited a long time for that revolver and it was so far off target I was ashamed to even show it to anyone, at 3 yards you had to aim 18 inches right and 18 inches down to hit your target, I love all my other Standard mfg guns, the SAA and the 1911's and the DP12 but that Thunderstruck was a huge disappointment!

This gun literally fell apart within the first 20 rounds at the range. The trigger mechanism is very difficult to deal with, binds up and won't fire at all. Very undependable. Then the pin mechanism/axle that the cylinder rotates on failed and all of the internal parts (springs, retainer, release mechanism just fell out on the floor. Each an every spent shell got jammed up in the cylinders and had to be rammed out with the rod/axle that the cylinder spins on. No sights and very inaccurate at any distance over 5 or 6 yards. In my opinion very dangerous to carry even in the closed position in your pocket since it opened up twice by itself in my pocket while loaded. I don't need a .22 calibre vasectomy. The dealer acted like it's either my fault or all in my head. When I get stuck with an unreliable gun, I bust them up with a 10lb sledge hammer and toss them in different TRASH CANS so that nobody else can get hurt by them,. That's where this is going.

@kellycool01 We tested all of the guns in this class before we decided to make the Switch Gun, we wanted it to be a much more durable and solid gun and it has performed very well in all of the testing we have done with it and we have gotten a lot of positive feedback from those that have tested it.
How disappointing 😞. I was really interested in owning one, that is, until he informed viewers that the "switch is on the left side of the gun." But I'm left handed. Story of my life. This gun (righthanders switch), the Taurus Curve (curves the wrong way), and any gun with non ambidextrous safety, plus rifles with cheek rest on the left side of the stock, and guns with ejection ports that toss spent shells right into my face and neck.

Why the design change? I like the cylinder design and the extended barrel, in this variant.
Como comprar e qual o preço ?
Você pode comprá-lo diretamente em nosso site stdgun.com e o preço é de $ 449,00
I love my Standard Mfg. Guns and the customer service is absolutely the best! I have not had the first T_rd in the punch bowl, everyone here is excellent! (And they speak English too!)
Hey John! I actually remember speaking with you! You ordered the specialized serial number ! Pleasure working with you!
@@StandardMfgLLC yes I did and I bet you are Jay? I could be wrong on the name but not on the excellent customer service you provided. I really like my standard mfg guns!!
@@johnalexander7708 That would be me ! Appreciate that so much John. Got something very special coming your way in a few days for the continuous support.
@@StandardMfgLLC awesome, thanks so much!!
It's there a clip for holstering this?
@Al_Wick No clip on this. We wanted it to look smooth like a cell phone in pockets and avoid a potential snag point.
Al_Wick Wanted to give you a heads up. We are currently working on a clip for the Switch Gun that will still keep it low profile
I see you have 2 holsters for it now but in brown. I would like one in black. Will you be making one?
How do you load the Switch?
There is a pin that you remove from the front of the gun and the cylinder will come out to load and unload it.
Can I buy it in California??
Unfortunately, the Switch-Gun is not California compliant.
Maybe a version that’s hammerless?
It's single action so it would need the hammer to cock it.
We messed with the idea of it and are still working on other prototypes to see if we can keep it the same size and still have it be reliable in double action.
Now make it in 9mm…
Interesting but I think I rather have the Smith and Wesson 351pd . It just a better feeling gun all Around. That thing is more of a novelty then a gun.
@Benjimen Franklin Fair enough. To each their own. You'd be surprised how comfortable the grip is though.
@@StandardMfgLLC
You would be surprised how many times a Smith and Wesson 351pd shoots with out reloading too. What's gonna happen when you meet up with some drug addicts trying to take your money ? You better not be shaking because will only give rounds you might be in trouble.
We're not all from philly,lol
pocket revo needs a hammer shroud.
@vse0 in some cases yes, but the way the internals work when the gun is folded the hammer cannot be cocked.
Theoretically... you could also mount a bayonet on top of the gun so when it flicks out you can extend it double the length...... just to make it even cooler than it already is lol.
You're welcome.....my original idea.... patent it, and just send me a free gun.
$449.00 and its 22mag PLUS 435. Shipping
1) I'll wait to see how many bugs it has.
2) I'll wait for someone to produce a copy.
3) Maybe wait for some owner to dump theirs cheap.
4) Wait to see how many people get hurt using it.
5) Wait for the 357 Mag unit. HAHA
@Justan Aussiemate Sounds like a plan
Eddie eagle is a fine firearms training program for some folks.🙂

Wash your pants or buy USA 🇺🇸 made ones with no lint. Never had lint in my pocket in 50 years.
ahaha, that guy has some prettyyyyy dirty pockets seems like.
why didnt you show us how to trigger and shoot in the video
looks like another "gimmick" gun like that thunderstruck revolver and lifecard thing
@kellycool01 We tested all of the guns in this class before we decided to make the Switch Gun, we wanted it to be a much more durable and solid gun and it has performed very well in all of the testing we have done with it and we have gotten a lot of positive feedback from those that have tested it.
Big fan of the lifecard but they ain't for everybody.
Is this basically just a naa mini revolver mk2? If I already own one of those why buy this?
No, no really. The look and design have similarities but we made it so you could get a full grip on it when firing and made sure that the gun was reliable and durable even when shooting quite a few rounds through before cleanings as well as in its construction.
