I think its funny how one of the hatcheries is called "Mapache", which means raccoon, considering they are the predators we're trying to protect against. The current hatchery is called "El Dorado" which is a great name.
Have you been there since we filmed this? How is everything going there?
Yes, I was there in December. Things are going very well. Massimo, Marleen and Piccolina are well and there are still lots of baby turtles! Watching your videos encouraged me to go, so thanks!

GoEco has multiple turtle projects and they withhold the names so you don't go there on your own. I just got back from this place it is called Camaronal Wildlife Refuge in Guanacaste.
I wonder if you can offer fish to the pelicans to distract them from getting to the baby turtles... but then again, nature is nature. Ugh.
