We are decorating our 2024 EEK sign!

I wanted to share how we are decorating our 2024 EEK sign! We all still love dogs - so dog is the theme (recurring theme 😊). I found a super cute doggo bandana at a local feed store and snagged it up just for this project. A little bit of paint, a little bit of fabric, and a little bit of glitter (got to have some glitter) and a little bit of creativity and we have us a gift that I think is just TOO CUTE!!!
Items needed for the project:
• Chipboard sign
• Cloth to use for background
• Glitter
• Cording
• Mod Podge
• Paint and paint brush
• Scissors, cutters, and tweezers
• Hot glue and glue gun
• Glue - preferably one that dries clear
Directions:
• Gather all materials
• Trace the chipboard shape onto the fabric in reverse
• Cut out the shape from the fabric
• Paint the surface - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using Mod Podge - attach the fabric to the chipboard - allow to dry thoroughly
• Apply coat of mod podge to the entire surface - allow to dry thoroughly
• While drying cut cording to “trace” the outline shape of the chip board piece
• Using glue add the cording to the out perimeter of the chip board piece - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using glue add glitter to the edge of the cording (where the cording and the chip board base met) - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using Mod podge add final coat to both front and back of chip board piece - allow to dry thoroughly on each side
