Hey Aviators! Thanks for tuning in. Make sure to hit the like button, subscribe, and ring the notification bell. Also leave a comment and I'll answer back!
My wife and I love watching this progression. We're thinking of both getting our licenses together and saving to buy a plane to learn on in a few years. This has been a really good inspiration for us :)
@Angle of Attack she'll be able to fly all her new friends in college and travel all over that's awesome. I had a roommate in college was a pilot and he tell me his stories but I never got to go up with him.
@Shawn Williams thats rough, sounds like you guys are already committed with both starting to get the license though. Maybe take a small break or have a good talk over a dinner out till you both are on the same page otherwise i imagine a rabbit hole problems down the line.
All very nice photos. Best are: #1 Eagle pose at 12:00, #2 hand on prop nose at 12:07, #3 sitting on tire with mountain in background at 12:17, and, #4 arm on the prop at 12:30. Sienna looks very comfortable in the left seat. Will make a good pilot.
Fantastic composition on all the photos. My favorites are the second one where she leans against the tail section, and the very last one posing in front. The best of all is the one where she's smiling wildly with her arms mimicking the propeller blades. Excellent work all around !
Fave pics: her behind the empennage leaning on the plane. Her behind the prop. And her sitting on the tire. There’s one of her right in front of the plane which was great too. All in all there wasn’t a bad one. Great series, Chris!
Sienna looks great posed with the airplane, I think my favorite is her leaning on the tail of the airplane with the call sign showing, also liked her leaning on the prop at the end. Continued success to her as she learns how to fly!
What a neat opportunity to be able to get some awesome unique pictures. Its not every day that someone has the option to be able to take senior pictures in front of an aircraft - especially with some extremely awesome scenery. Years ago I worked at 1D2 (Canton/Plymouth, Michigan) when it was a training/school airport. Sadly the school portion closed down, they sold their cessnas and a piper cherokee, and the airport is now owned by the Michigan Dept of Transportation. Being a lineman, I was always on the apron moving and gassing the cessnas, and it kind of sparked my interest in becoming a student pilot. Sadly that never happened, and now I think the closest training/school airport to me is ARB in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I'm sure one of these days I'll get that motivation again. Watching your videos sure spark my interest, thanks again Chris!
Sienna spreading her wings in front of the aircraft is my favorite. Sure wish I would have had the opportunity to learn to fly in high school. At 51 hopefully I'll get there in the next 3-4 months.... Fun to follow along. She's maybe a month behind my lessons!
Great video as always Chris. What a beautiful day to fly! Awesome senior pictures as well. Think both the picture with Sienna sitting on the wheel with the mountain in the background and the last picture with her arm on the prop are my favorites.
#1 is the last photo at 12:30. It's got everything going for it. #2 is at the 12:00 mark. Great insight into the fun side of Sienna's personality. Thanks again for the "clear-------------------------" scaring Sienna and the world to death. Have a great weekend. ~ Curt
Best senior pictures ever!! Nice small field landing also. Lovely up there, so much different from the Midwest landscape. Nice video, Hope your students / family and you are doing well. Take care - Be safe and always God Bless.
Love the picture one before last where she is sitting on the wheel but any one of them would be great. Will be following Sienna especially for her first solo.
I remember my first flying lesson. the instructor asked me the question. where do we land if we have an engine failure? I replied: "Oh there's a beach dead ahead". after 5.5 hours of flight training, my personal circumstances changed and Sadley, I never got back into it. that was 24 years ago. I am really enjoying this series of videos watching a young person learning to fly. its bringing back so many good memories.
Can’t say there was a favourite photo. They were all equally wonderful. Loved watching this video. Completed my first solo just over 3 weeks ago. You’ll be there yourself, soon, Sienna. Keep up the good work! Craig Clarke, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Great video Chris - Photos are legit! First one (nice frame), and the one where she leans on the plane, with the village homes in the back. Looks like it was a beautiful day to fly!
I have been thoroughly enjoying these videos with Sienna! They are getting me prepared for when I go on my first lesson, and what I can expect to happen. Way to go to the both of you!
What a great experience..very cool. I was flying during high school but unfortunately before cell phones and compact cameras. I have very few pictures of me flying back then.
Great pics. Love the last one with the arm on prop and the beautiful village in the background. When was this filmed. Obviously not in February but curious. My family will be visiting ANC in early June. Definitely want to visit Homer! Great content and super videos. You are a great instructor and inspirational.
Flying over the old Fell Homestead! They have a nice grass strip on their place! Good old Maritime Helicopters! The best helicopter service in AK! Lived in Homer off and on, just love it there, just too expensive for my blood, "I'm in aviation and can't afford it! ha! She's very lucky to learn to fly there! Sweet young Lady, wish her safety and many years of flying! 😁😁

Great photos. One suggestion, next time put in the control lock. The drooping elevator looked a bit less nice than if it was aligned with the stabilizer.
What an amazing experience to do your senior pictures this way! Great job on the video and pictures. I wish I got my license when I was in high school, but I’m doing it now (41), so it’s all good. Love your content.
I've been watching for awhile now, this is a great channel. I have a thought on the very common 'right rudder' phrase. With a little picture-in-picture view if you have an extra camera, I think mounting one under the panel showing how much right rudder is being used would be awesome. Thanks for all the great videos and keep having fun!
This is as close as i'll get to flying and Microsoft Flight Sim on my PC due to epilepsy.Just found your channel, great to watch others being trained how to fly, excellent videos!
I love your content. I just wish you had been a bit more focused on Sienna maintaining her altitude "assigned" altitude. New pilots need to have that drilled into them so when it comes time for the checkride, especially your instrument checkride, maintaining your altitude is so very important. At 5:58 in this video, she's already at 3450' when she should have been at 3000'. The pictures of Sienna were all fantastic. If I had to choose one, it would be the one of her on the right side on the empennage, showing the back half of the plane with the windsock coming out of the top of the tail.
Awesome video! I've got my intro flight in Calgary, Alberta (home) next weekend (super super excited)! I've been watching Sienna's progress since the first video and, Sienna, it's so awesome to see how happy this makes you. I can't wait for this to be me!! I'm 36 now and totally wish I'd started in high school/college but the urge has got too big now so it's now or never :-) keep up the awesome work both of you, and I'll be waiting for the next video!!
Hi Chris - I do enjoy your videos, love seeing Alaska. I hope to visit soon. I'm a Long time pilot/ instructor, charter pilot and Traffic pilot too in the lower 48. I of course don't know your preflight briefs with Sienna but correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't see use of a check list or syllabus. I was disappointed at how much you did rather than her. I admit I need to check out more of your instruction videos to be fair and we all do have our unique ways of teaching. I like to set the student up with everything they're going to do and get them talking right away. I cover and practice with them all that they will be expected to say and assist as needed for the unexpected which doesn't happen often. I want them to be controlling the plane as much as possible with only my verbal coaching. As for that I like to be specific i.e. set power to 2350 rpm. If they need another 100 to 200 rpm I state that NOT a little less or a little more rpm. that's to vague. We need to be precise with all instructions. I didn't see clearing turns either which is drilled into down here. Well I don't meant to be harping on you I know you love aviation, instructing and your students and your success is showing that. So if there is anything you can use out of this great otherwise I'm sure you know what to do. Oh one more thing. On the radio I head a LOT of jabber when it comes to looking for traffic. When advise all that's needed is to say "Looking" and call sign or "Contact" and call sign. If necessary state the type A/C so ATC and the other pilot know your talking about them. Best to you keep up the great work Dan
Love the one in front of the plane with her arms out... Beautiful smile! I'm 66 and got my ppl two years ago. Bought a Cardinal, and she is getting a Garmin face lift now. Good luck, Sienna, with your training adventures. You're in good hands with Chris...
She needs to meet my daughter Natalie! She did her senior photos with an airplane too. I also have her first solo on my channel. Very cool to see another young lady learning to fly.
I like the one where she is leaning on the tail and you have the tail numbers in the frame. Also like the last one with her leaning on the prop. That little Airport you went to reminded me of a TV show or maybe it was a movie where the son of a retired military pilot flew in and got lunch in I wanna say it was a C-150 but I could be wrong on that and the plane took off and flew itself and lost the engine and crashed beside the runway. I wish I could remember what it was called.
Hey Aviators! Thanks for tuning in. Make sure to hit the like button, subscribe, and ring the notification bell. Also leave a comment and I'll answer back!
12:31 is my favourite photo of Sienna leaning behind the prop. She has a look of determination and calmness on her face. Well done Sienna 👍✈️
My wife and I love watching this progression. We're thinking of both getting our licenses together and saving to buy a plane to learn on in a few years. This has been a really good inspiration for us :)
Love to hear that! That's really cool. Planning on getting Sienna finished this summer before she heads to college.
Both me and my wife are taking lessons. We've been looking for a plane to buy, but its a big commitment that my wife is nervous about.
FAV == Eagle Wings + smile in every pic. Good job!
Best Senior Pics Ever... Incredible series, by the way. Have enjoyed watching your videos.
Love to hear it! This was a unique one, but we still fit in a lesson.
The picture on the prop is the best picture. She's adorable so any of the pictures would work.
ALL PICTURES ARE AWESOME OF HER ESPECIALLY THE LAST 1 WITH HER RIGHT ARM ON THE BLADE
I love the one at 11:54. The wing at the top, leaning on the back of the fuselage, and the houses with the docks in the background. Phenomenal picture
Agree, truly a great shot. Least favorite? The last one with arm wrapped around prop. I was always told to never get that close to the prop....ever!
I like that one too. I'm going to try that thumbnail.
A full service CFI - flight instruction AND senior pictures. I love how fun you make it - your student gets quite a charge out of you.
My favorite is the last one when she is 'leaning' on the prop!!!! Nice to have a flight instructor that is a great photographer as well!!!!
Leaning on prop, and Her arms flying with plane behind her. All are great pictures with wonderful memories with them!
I like that one too!
So many good pictures of her. But I particularly like that last one when she was leaning on the prop.
Great to know!
My favorite is of Sienna leaning against the tail looking over it to the right. 2nd favorite is the one with her arm on the prop. Nicely, done!
Beautiful young lady; all pics look great. If I had to pick one only I would say the one where she has arms out like she's ready to fly.
Beautiful pictures that will be the envy of your classmates. Way to go young lady.
Favorite pic is the one of her arm hooked around the prop. Way cool!
Sienna looks great posed with the airplane, I think my favorite is her leaning on the tail of the airplane with the call sign showing, also liked her leaning on the prop at the end. Continued success to her as she learns how to fly!
Mine too!
That is a Happy person. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Watching from Australia, great photos!
the last one is stunning, and the one where she’s sitting on the tire, really nice pictures ✈️
Great video as always Chris. What a beautiful day to fly! Awesome senior pictures as well. Think both the picture with Sienna sitting on the wheel with the mountain in the background and the last picture with her arm on the prop are my favorites.
You from Wichita?
What a sweet young lady! Keep up the good work Sienna. Great pictures!

My Fav photos are, All of them!! Beautiful airport. To me, that's what flying is all about!!
I liked the photo with Sienna looking over the fuselage by the tail.

Great video. Photos look great.
Go Sienna, very cool pictures and so cool that you are getting your license. It is one thing I wish I had done many years ago. Maybe someday....

.................12:15 is good and 12:30 really good. Way to go Sienna !! Only wish I had a CFI like yours ;)
What an amazing adventure. I do hope I can get my license one day.
Nice to see you in the air again, Sienna ?? I liked the photo of you standing in front and posing like a bird of prey. Keep it up, your doing great!
Thanks for sharing my friend. Sweet pics, Good luck with your channel. Keep them coming.
Great video Chris - Photos are legit! First one (nice frame), and the one where she leans on the plane, with the village homes in the back. Looks like it was a beautiful day to fly!
I like all the photos, nice video , building memories
Amazing photos ❤
I've binge watched Sienna's first five and love it. Thinks to you both for letting us look in and great pics!
I appreciate the way you put this together.
What a great instructional flight for Sienna!!!! The pictures were beautiful. She is one lucky young woman to have you as her instructor. Keep it up.
Thanks for anither informative video, enjoying watching her progression
I wished I had my senior pics with a plane!
I have been thoroughly enjoying these videos with Sienna! They are getting me prepared for when I go on my first lesson, and what I can expect to happen. Way to go to the both of you!
I liked the Crane photo the best. I wish I had this opportunity when I was younger.
What a great experience..very cool. I was flying during high school but unfortunately before cell phones and compact cameras. I have very few pictures of me flying back then.
I like her , she is so calm
Thanks!
Thanks so much for the support! *Her First Solo!* ---> ua-cam.com/video/Zhmqyx_fujE/v-deo.html
Love the prop photos power pic's
Love that prop frame, all good...good to see young people interested in aviation to the extent of taking lessons.
Blue skies and tailwind for her.
GREAT senior photos. I like the photo of the front view of plane with hands stretched out like the wings. Great video
Thank you very much! I like that one too.
Great pics. Love the last one with the arm on prop and the beautiful village in the background. When was this filmed. Obviously not in February but curious. Traumhaft ❤. Very surreal and beautiful. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Great video once again all the photos look great well done guys !!!
Such an amazing experience for this young lady, well done!
Great photos! I like the ones where she’s close to the prop. Although they’re all really good!

How did you mount the camera at the tail? The view is great!

Better late than never, eh? I just completed my first solo at 62. Good luck with your training. Craig Clarke, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

These photo's are awesome, I hope I can do something similar for my daughter when she gets to that grade
Excellent!
Great watching your development as a pilot Sienna. Lucky to be at the controls of 2423U!
I loved all photos which are include Sienna :P
Love that last tree at 10.10....
What a cool idea for senior photos!
It was an impromptu lesson this way.
Great photos pat
subscribed and liked sir . really enjoy your videos !
Sienna great smile.

I definitely think my favorite pic is of her leaning in the prop!
Behind the prop is great
Great job

This airport was far too challenging for her level of skill. Watch the other videos and you’ll see me hardly ever have to touch the controls.
Why did you choose to land long? Don't want to taxi so much on the runway? I'm learning.
You do such an amazing job with your videos! The scenery is always incredible as well
Yo Goo Gurl and with an Awesome Instructor You will go far.
Thanks
Can’t wait to get my lisence

Always someone who has to start bragging about themselves 🙄🙄
She needs to meet my daughter Natalie! She did her senior photos with an airplane too. I also have her first solo on my channel. Very cool to see another young lady learning to fly.
I like the photo of her holding the prop in her right hand and her nice beautiful smile...
Great jobs photos 😎
all the photos are nice but i like the one with her on the prop best she is very pretty and photogenic

For a new student pilot of only about 4 hours, that was a fantastic takeoff
awesome
I would really like to take flying lessons with you not only would learn, but have a good time as well

Great job guys. On the fly and the pictures. I think I will require a bit more short field training before I try sliding it in there. Lol.
Thanks 👍 Yeah, it's a wild one. Pretty fun. Demands respect.
@@angleofattack I'll have to hire you to give me the run down and some training some day when I get up there.
