Thanks for the video. Great video. Got Two EX30 in my family. Love the car! ✔️🇸🇪
Awesome! 👏
ИИ поможет избежать столкновения
I have a vapour gray EX30 but would love an orange one 😂
😂😂 (this one was moss yellow underneath 😄)
Wrap it 😂. I got the gray EX30 Also. Love the car. But in future i might wrap it to some cool color 😎
Curious to see what the verdict is on these tests especially with the smallest car in their new lineup having a natural disadvantage for crashing.
They didn't even show the footage inside the car. Seems like didn't go that well.
yeah i was hoping to see some inside footage too
Hold on, that's not representative of a real world T bone, as the cars are on glass and the friction from the tyres will be less.
The EX30 was pushed off the ground, so it doesn't make much difference.
Sadly test is irrelevant. Most crashes happen up to 30kmh because all the safety systems slow it down and then on highway speeds(80kmh+)
So yeah... Try crashing EX90 on double the speed, then EX30 will be an pancake! 😉
This test is very relevant as it gives all kinds of data which can be used for digital crash test simulations. The crash you see is a very typical kind of accident which occurs often (somebody running a red light). And yes, they also crash Volvos up to 120km/h in the test centre. So don’t worry, they got you covered in Sweden.. ☺️
@@thom-lov and where are those data? All we see is the impact footage from the outside.
Smart to crash the new cars against each other. Can see how crash works as crashed and crashee.
They have at least 1 crash per (working) day at the Volvo Safety Centre. By doing this they keep providing new data to the computers in which they can perform 'digital crashes'. Really interesting to witness!
@@thom-lov That should also confirm that more than just a few EX90 already produced 😄
@@MykolaDzham haha! Yes production is starting these weeks in Charleston.
@@thom-lov Sorry, I've probably missed and it was already mentioned in some other video earlier: are there any expectations where will be EX90 for European market produced? China first and Europe (probably Kosice) later?
@MykolaDzham USA first, perhaps the Torslanda factory will follow. If demand is high I expect China to step in as well. As for Kosice I expect they will focus on European models over there, so mainly EX30, and perhaps the next gen EV60 or something.
Still driving my 92 240 wagon, with 800,000+ Km on the original engine.
Volvo power 👊🤛💪
Is that the first video ever of EX90 moving, not just stationary? 😂
Ehh there is some press release footage of it when it was revealed. Also some videos have been made of test vehicle EX90s around Goteborg. But yes it’s still a bit rare, hence i figured posting this 😊
1 machine must be tied to the floor, the second must be at a speed of 120 km/h. That's when it will be clear whether he will protect or not. They would also do a test on ice and put the tires on skates... 90% of accidents with speeds up to 60 km/h are not fatal...
Why NO EURONCAP test?
🤷🏼♂️
20 km per uur?
De EX30 heeft een snelheid van 20kmu, de EX90 50kmu
Because in the real world, car crashes are silent.
🤡
NCAP ??
Volvo cars do not need NCAP validation.
Great work like allways by polestar. Hopefully they då better work on updates to the ex30 so it can even get better ❤ i know tesla does allt of updates even years after sold to keep the car doing better.
None of these cars are a Polestar. These are Volvo.
Volvo, who made these cars, do do software updates like Tesla.
No audio until the end?
Correct! A full video about my visit to Volvo Cars is coming soon here on the channel.
ex30 performed so well that it replaced the rims during the crash 😂
It just lost the internal covers
now put in the batterys and repeat the test BOOOOOM
