During the final round, that background coaching of saying things like, "Faster!" contributed to Mark Sam faltering into saying the actual word instead of a clue. Then he's apologizing all over the place, but I heard no apology from the other players.
This burns me up to no end!!! How do people not understand by now that that is not a good idea!! I would be so angry if I was the contestant. A lot of the celebrities do it. I always wonder so they tell the other players before the game "Hey! Look, DO NOT rush me!!!!!"
One or two "faster"s is enough. If you just keep saying it during the money round that's gotta cause added anxiety to an already nerve-wracking situation.
I agree, it drives me crazy. Mary McCormack is notorious for that. One bonus round, they had 30+ seconds and more than half their clues left, with only 4 answers to go - and she kept saying 'Hurry, hurry.' Drives me crazy!
I wish Paul would stop saying faster to Mark Sam on the bonus round. He did it in the last episode as well. Let Paul give the clues and Mark Sam say faster to him & see how it's so pressing. How would Mark Sam be able to think of a clue word when Paul keeps saying faster faster.😢
Jaleel.....takes too long to pass.....gets frustrated when they can't get the answer based on his weak clues. Ricki gets dinged for swivel, which was right, but the other woman should have gotten dinged for 'pelican." Her hands were all over the place. I guess it didn't matter since they lost that round anyway.
@DCLifeObservedJaleel is the WORST when it comes to not pivoting. He picks ONE clue that he thinks is ironclad and doesn’t waver when it flops. I thought he’d use his two remaining words to pivot. Instead, he repeats BALTIMORE like that’s gonna make a difference!!!!!!!!!!
@@wilhelmina6429 As I said, he almost never pivots! Being able to pivot is a KEY skill, you can't put all your eggs in one clue/basket! His "Baltimore show" clearly did NOT work, and he had plenty of time to pivot, and didn't. There are a million clues you can give for wire. You need to have backups up your sleeve!
Is 'sack lunch' a common phrase in the US? I've never heard it before, and definitely wouldn't have guessed it. In Canada, at least in Alberta and BC, we say 'bag lunch' or 'bagged lunch'. I was really hoping someone would have picked 'Common Knowledge'. I'm so curious as to what clues they would have used. Lol, I would have chosen 'Underdog' and used the clue '2 words: opposite over cat'. Not sure if anyone would have guessed the answer though! 😂
Good call on the swivel. She pretty much gave away the clue word by swiveling. I don't get how they failed on copy? Duplicate is a great clue, I guess it just not for the clueless lol. They should get the buzzer on maximum. Mum is a word.
16:24 A clue giver saying "pass" at the outset of a word has to be the biggest time waster and worst strategy. The more times it happens in a round, the bigger the disaster. I know that I'm not on television where there's so much pressure, but I still think that some of the players' moves are rather stupid.
Ricki truly has grasped the game since the beginning. Really really good at it. So refreshing to see a new celebrity that actually gets it!
Ricki Lake is fabulous - absolutely love her! And kudos for not getting flustered during the red, yellow, green round - handled like a pro!

Yeah rushing a person giving clues is not a good idea.
YESSSSS that was so annoying! Shut up, Paul!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, they should shut the f up and stick to their job, which is to GUESS.

That was extremely annoying!!!!!
Meredith vieira is so beautiful and gorgeous she's a beautiful host❤❤❤❤
She's beautiful and surprisingly funny, too!
Jaleel’s team was just too hyper and eager
The chair movement for Swivel and the immediate buzzer took me out 😭
Why are you all still in pods instead of live like the show before Covid
It's now Charades.
We love ricki lake and jaleel white

Are you kidding, Jaleel is one of the best, his teammates were just to over zealous

Um, button! Lol ❤
Great video and episode
Challenger team wasn’t ready for any competition.

I'm in Pittsburgh City, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
USA. I hear people say "bag lunch" or "brown bag lunch," more often than I hear "sack lunch."

Most definitley should have gotten the buzzer on maximum.
Maria also gestured on pelican. Should’ve been buzzed!
@@eliasshakkour2904 She definitely should have been buzzed. But since they weren't going to win the round anyway, I guess it didn't matter.
Maximum isn’t a compound word.
@@JulieL96 It doesn't have to be a compound word. If an acutal word (mum) is in the answer, and they say it in the clue, it should be buzzed.
Go Ricki.
Y do they keep appointing Mark Sam to give clues in $ Rounds?
Why can’t he just say electrical string lol
17:30: OOH!!! OUCH.
Do away with an " audience" clapping and oooing and uhhhing
Will you plz do 45 second bgm timer music plz that's my request ❤❤❤❤❤
If you're going to repeatedly make this request, you should probably start phrasing it intelligibly.
He said "button" because the other guy kept saying faster, faster, faster.
Go Jaleel/
Mark Sam continued to give bad clues. If you listened carefully, some of them had no similarities.

Jaleel is really the worst celebrity player.
Definitely not the worst! Have you seen Bresha and Raven? His problem is that he doesn’t pivot when his original clue doesn’t work.
@@eliasshakkour2904Bresha moved Jaleel up to third worst.
