freekin awesome. thanks for publishing this. I do not think GM has the sack In todays climate of "America haters" and "I'm not proud to be an American" and "I'm ashamed to be an American"...you get the picture....to use this type of proudness....they can all kiss boots... Thanks again

One of the best ad campaigans ever. And the dealers WANTED it to continue -the bean counters at GM said NO......their focus groups said it was tired.

WE are tired of GM... This is coming from a GM guy. GM has screwed the pooch on so many things in the last 40 years, the company has been living on its reputation it earned from the 30's-70's and that has about dried up. Guys like Harley Earl, Bunke Knudson , Ed Cole, Zora Duntov etc. are spinning in their graves. Legend has it they still toast Roger Smiths ghost every board meeting at GM, drinking out of a human skull of one of the workers fired when a GM plant was closed and moved overseas. BTW this WAS a great add campaign, maybe Mahk can get this to replace "Real People".

What?! Find New Roads IS becoming more tiring! It's so repetitive & so outdated! Miss so much Heartbeat of America & Like A Rock!

    "Real people not actors" LoL
2 years later the "Like a Rock" Slogan came out for chevy trucks. Still with that beautiful patriotic classic Americana flavor todays America lacks.

Is it just me, or did older vehicles look better? Even trucks, take the 1999 GMC Sonoma (s15) and compare it to the 1988 GMC s15.

@ 3:54 mark with all of the Vietnam Veterans in the parade...Weird to think most of them are in their mid 70' or early 80's now.

I don't care if Ford wins or Chevy wins in a commercial. They need to be like this again!

This was such an upbeat bad campaign Donald Trump even with the screaming ape at the end. It's too bad this patriotic ad campaign was used to push such mediocre cars.
