- In todays video I talk about or I try to explain how I feel about my Coach Cassie, and the issue I have with it. I have had this issue now for a couple of years, pretty much since I purchased the bag. I don't enjoy when my purse falls on the floor as I'm trying to get it over my shoulder:/

I did have that issue with the clasps on my Cassie. I saw a review on it and the lady said to make sure that the clip opening is faced away from the bag and it has worked for me 👍🏻 I have six Cassie’s and one Cassie 19 and I love them !!! Hope that helps you. I haven’t had the problem since I made sure the clasp openings were facing outward 😊
Yeah, reverse the clasp. It should fix the issue 😊

I love the regular Cassie by .....it is such a Classic. So, far I haven't experienced the strap coming off of my Cassie, but it has occurred with my Coach Scout hobo.
I found the color-blocked Cassie preloved on eBay & I'm so glad I took the plunge because it's become one of my 'go-to' bags to the point that I have a few others that I'm seriously considering parting with because I just don't use them as much. Oh & no, so far anyway, I haven't had any issues with any of the hardware on any of my Coach bags.

Wow, that’s interesting. I have the coach Cassie in black leather as well and my straps have never come off. I do naturally turn the clips outward, so perhaps that’s why? Anyway, if you want to sell the others I would love to check them out. I just may buy them! I absolutely love this bag and it’s been with me all around the world. ❤ it’s definitely a forever bag for me.
Mine did the same but then I just attached the clip facing away from the bag, haven’t had the problem after that.
The strap of my Cassie kept coming off so many times that I got a new purse strap chain from Amazon. But I still love the bag!!
I would keep them just add a different strap on💜 beautiful beautiful bag.
Put the clip on the other way and you won’t have that issue. I’ve never had my straps fall off on any of my Coach bags.
Dog leash clips! Yes! Mine come off a lot too on my Ruby. I have the clip facing outwards and it helps! Great seeing you. Is your name Arlene?

Same girl same! I have worn the Cassie 19 & Jes Crossbody and strap came undone on multiple occasions!
I switched the clip around, and it will still fall on its own🤷♀️
I had the same issue and Coach replaced the dog clips for free. I brought it to the store and within a couple days they shipped the strap back to me. That was four years ago when I first got it. It’s worth reaching out to Coach though. Good luck !
Did you need to show a receipt or proof of purchase?

I have the same issue with most of my Coach purses, I just assumed it was mine only and replaced my purse straps… 😊
I wanted the cassie bag for the longest time. It's beautiful but too many cons for my linking
I have the same bag for 4 years now.Never had the same issue you have. I think your bag has too much inside. It probably weighs so much
I haven't had this problem with Coach, but I for sure had this problem with Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC. I don't where that bag now because of the strap.
I love my cassie, especially the black one, which the strap always comes off. My RM mini mac has been good to me

Like everyone on the comment section, attach the lobster clasp away from the bag. I've had the same problem before then after one youtuber gave this advise it never happened again.
You can use the strap from another bag like the black Fossil Sydney, that is the strap i use for my Cassie

I have the same issue with mine. I am currently selling my Aurora pink Cassie because of this issue.
As much as I want to sell them, the pink is my favorite. It's hard for me to let them go.
I just used it with other straps from my other bags..😊
The formal name is a swivel hook or swivel clip. 🌷🙂

Don’t sell have Coach repair or bag a new strap. I have done with my white Coach Cassie
