    Super helpful video!
I completed 2/3 years of B. Midwifery before cross crediting into yr 2 B. Nursing, would you recommend adding in skills and hours gained here too?
Love that shirt colour on you too, very flattering! 💗

Thank you so much lovely, you're so sweet! I'm so happy you found the video helpful :) I personally would definitely add your midwifery skills because not only does it showcase your experience but also creates another talking point for interviewers. Even if you didn't add it in skills, I would still talk about it somewhere in your CV like in your personal summary or even your clinical placement history if you had any midwifery placements. Hope this helps and best of luck!

I think things just get a bit hectic in your last semester because you juggle your ACE application, transition placement, your assessments and might start thinking about the states, but aside from that I always found that there was plenty of time to study throughout my nursing school journey! When preparing for the states exam, at AUT we had a whole month where we had nothing else going on aside from states study, so no placements, other assessments or lectures, it was just one whole month to prep for the exam. I didn't mean to scare you lovely! You'll have plenty of time to study xx

Hi, very useful as I ll be starting my ace application soon. Can I include my experience from overseas under work experience?

I feel like as long as it is relevant/transferable or you can link it a little to nursing, that would be a great idea! At the end of the day, it is your resume and you are adding what you think best reflects your skills and your character, so it is up to you what you want to add :) Overseas experience would also be an amazing talking point in interviews for them to get to know you :) Thanks for watching, lovely!

also i wanted to ask what is the Difference between the universities in nz and polytech institutions

Hi lovely! Thank you for watching my video :) I think the main difference is that polytechnics tends to focus more on practical hands on skills than universities do. Another difference is the type of programs offered, like at polytechnics, it is unusual for them to offer papers like classics or law, while it would be unusual for universities to offer papers like hairdressing or makeup artistry. I think also class sizes at polytechnics are a lot smaller. I really hope this answers your question!
