We usually don’t NEED an email autoresponder just yet, but have something to offer! Great way for a simple blogger/UA-camr to grow their audience :) Love it.
Think I’m going to use this to finally launch my blog! (Feels like I’ve been in “failure to launch” mode forever, trying to put all the pieces together to offer things for a fee/e-commerce. This gives me a simple way on each blog post to test an idea (for free!) before feeling guilty charging for it or asking them to visit/sort through a “shop.”

Thank you so much for this. I had this working but then some issues and had to restore from a point before I had a downloadable attachment in an e-mail... now when I try to do add it back in, the html link doesn't work... But line break and Bolding copy html works.

Hi Adam, I was messing around today with Elementor forms and I though to myself: Hmm, template shortcodes work in HTML fields. Why not make a template section built with Elementor and call it in with the short code. It worked!!
Thank you so much, one way I get HTML is to use the regular text editor on elementor after formating then I revert to code or click the html tab to output the code and I just copy

Correct me if I am wrong, but the download link text should be pasted in Email 2. That way the website owner get the details of the visitors who fill out the form and the visitor get the download link in return.
No you are not wrong. You can send 2 emails.

That's a great tip. Thanks. The only problem is that Gmail sends elementor forms mail to the spam folder (unless you create a filter). So most of your clients will not even see your reply becuase it doesn't really come from your mail.

Hi there! I'm a bit late on the ball, but I have a question: I've followed this video meticulously, still I get error messages and no email sent to me when I test it. Why is that?
I did the same with a video instead of a pdf and somehow i can only open the video and see it playing in the browser, but i'm apparently not able to download the video to my computer (as a client). How can i make it that the video is instantly downloaded to the computer instead of opened in the browser?

Short is good! I don't mind longer tutorials now and then but it seems like lately channels I subscribe to are putting out longer and longer videos. I look at the time and if over 20 minutes I may not get to it. Today I had 4 videos I wanted to watch, but if I watched them all it would've taken over 2 hours of my day - at 1.5x speed! Under 7 mins. is good... I can always squeeze that in. :-)

Suggestion for a new video. I am developing a website using Elementor Pro that provides links to a history of newsletters that are stored as PDFs. It would be useful to show the first page of the PDF and use it as a link to the PDF itself. As I understand, the image of the first page of the PDF is captured but not made accessible; providing access to the image would make the page more interesting. The ancillary issue is that the storage of the images and the PDFs themselves could clutter up the media library, so an alternative solution to that would be useful. Perhaps other volunteer and community organizations would find this type if information useful.
Download portion does not have the hyper-link or a way that the user can download my PDF. I've watched the video over and over again and I can't see where I'm making the mistake. This is what I have >>> Here is your free download: Download Workout Sheet

Great tutorial Adam! My Elementor forms aren't sending as consistently as CF7. For example, sometimes I can get the first email to work, but not the second one (from the Elementor form). Question: Do you recommend adding an SMTP plugin for every website?
Hey Allison, yes I think every site should have an SMTP plugin. Actually I think it something that WordPress should officially have. But some web hosts have work arounds automatically in place.
Whats happening is, the email service receiving the emails does a bunch of checks before they decide if they are going to mark it as spam. You need to be able to control how the email is sent so the email can pass those checks.

Hi Adam, thank you very much for the tutorial! QQ: if in "Actions after submit" I add MailChimp will this send the email to the user but also add them into the MailChimp database? That way I can send the download link but also record as a subscriber

Hello question u know of plugin that limit amount products can publish per user role? There is two out there for blogs 2 limit per user roles but not for products? There are plugins like wcfm or dokan wich set up site merchant can do it there but looking code or plugin for products also not just blogs?

I learned something new ! I used to send email to me in forms, and I discover I can send to the visitor. Is it possible to send him but also to me (so 2 send email actions) ?
Yes you can send 2 emails. I suppose I should have just had a full tutorial on the things most people would want to do with Elementor Forms.

Adding in an opt-in a button/option would be quite easy to do, but back end where does the email address of the recipient get stored and how I can locate it? I have Mailchimp installed so would it go there, or somewhere in WP or Elementor? Would be useful if I want them to receive future subscription emails.

What if want to start the downloading of the file right away instead of sending it through email? like as the user click the submit button.. the file start downloading in the browser?
