I'm writing again. I never thought that I could ever play this piece but now I can because of this great tutorial. Hats off! Now I can understand the chords better but still lack sight reading. Hope to improve that soon.
You, sir, are terrific in every way. Thank you for these wonderful lessons. You’re so good at this and helping so many people with your talented playing and understanding.
Thanks so much for spending much of your time to teach us how to play our favorite songs via these videos. I'm VERY grateful to your tutorials, thanks to them I can play the songs that seem impossible for me. The world is more musical thanks to your selfless help! Reply
I'm not native to the piano keyboard (I learned to play classical akkordeon, the one with buttons), so it helps immensely to see where you put your fingers. It's so different from what you'd do on the akkordeon, but for the piano it makes so much sense. Thank you!
YES, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You have no idea how much this helps me. I was supposed to play this as an accompanist to a violin and the violinist broke a finger, meaning I needed to play the Liszt arrangement. You've literally saved my life, thank you so much! Edit: Do you plan on continuing the piece in future because there are a few parts from Liszt's arrangement that weren't included here. Also, maybe you might consider Liebeslied, either the Rachmaninoff Arrangement or any other simpler arrangement depending on the skill level you're trying to appeal to.

Amazing tutorial man as always, I requested this piece a few months ago, so it’s really cool you actually made it, thankss! If I could make another Schubert suggestion: impromptu. Op 90, No. 3. I started to learn it a few weeks ago, it’s so beautiful.
I’m so used to just following basic synthesia tutorials so it’s actually been super refreshing and helpful to have explanations like this. Thank you so very much for your effort and time! I’m learning very comfortably!

Hi! It took me about a year to learn Clair de Lune. I followed your tutorial! It was so helpful, but I wanted to select a song that wouldn't take so long to learn. How long would it take an intermediate beginner to learn this? Thanks! 😊
You’re fantastic, what sets you apart from other piano channels is the fact that you explain the music theory behind the piece. Your tutorials are magnificent. Thank you for taking the time to illustrate the beauty of these pieces.
Amazing tutorial, may I ask you to do a tutorial on Prelude Op.28 No.15 by chopin,I don't know why but I'm having a hard time learning the prelude during the pandemic, keep in mind that it's weird because I am playing much harder pieces like fantasie Impromptu and his etudes and I just struggle with this one for some reason,I just started it today

I love it. I listened to it the first time when Katia Buniatisvili played the Liszt arrangement and i fell in love. Could u please expand this amazing tutorial by Liszt’s part?
hey! great video as always, appreciate the work a lot. I wanted to ask if you could maybe state in the beginning of your videos how advanced the piece is, maybe difficulty level from 1-10, 10 being a really hard piano secret or something like that :D
I was wondering if you would ever cover the extra parts in Liszt’s arrangement for this piece? I personally think the echo part is so beautiful and I would love to learn it.
You're the best piano tutor I've seen on UA-cam... just amazing!! Thank you... Can you please let me know where I can find/buy the corresponding music sheet?
I wouldn't recommend you learning it if you're a pretty new player though. It is deceivingly hard to play. I found out the hard way when I picked it over Un Sospiro during high school.
This is amazing! I'm just impressed by your dedication. I'd love if you can do Liszt's un sospiro and Chopin's prelude op.28 no.15 in D flat "Raindrop". Another thanks!
Wow! Amazing tutorial. Could you please do a tutorial on House of the Rising Sun by the animals? This is not a classical piece so it is different from the videos you usually post😅. So i understand if you do not wish to do the tutorial. Thank you!

Hola buenas tardes. Excelente explicación . A mis 60 años, estoy iniciando con el piano, tu forma de ejecutar motiva el aprendizaje . Ojala quisieras compartir la partitura.
Hi and thanks for your video , I'm currently learning this but from my research there are two variants which can be played , or even three . I have come to the understanding that this one is the easier version ?!. when whatch the concert pianists play it , I see that they seem to use the lower register at about quarter of the way through , in so doing making it much harder as the hands then have to cross over untill the last few pages . I'm sure that they go from the origional transcription by Franz List to make the piano sound this way as the " song " was originally written for two voices and the piano !. Obviously there is a lot of choices a player can make in regards to how to cross the hands , do you have any experience in this field !.
You are welcome! I picked an intermediate arrangement which is listed under description. If a pianist is using cross hands it could be because of the arrangement they are using but also to add a little bit of a show. I hope this helps.
@@PianoSecretsChannel Yes the advanced arrangement is bye Franz List and it's meant to be played cross handed , as it brings out the melody more strongly giving more voice but It also has a very showy ending , which can seem like a better place to put effort rather than holding down the " voice " bye crossing hands to make the " song " more lyrical . I've decided to learn the advanced and origional version as I really like the piece for the stringed piano . I think on the synth its also different and I thank you for giving me the courage to learn/hopefully learn the origional as it is . I realize that Franz List makes very complicated arrangements , I don't think this one is to virtuoso though as Shubert is so lyrical anyway . I guess it just makes for a nice challenge for me at the moment , once again thanks and thanks for the feedback .
