I have recently discovered your channel and have watched several videos and enjoyed all of them - especially the 35mm film shoots. I bought my Canon A-1 when it was first released in 1978 and still use it to this day. I now have many cameras, film and digital, but the A-1 is still my favorite.
So glad you found our little corner of the internet! How funny that we ended up with the same camera, it must have been so different buying one back then when it had such different value (not that its not still a great camera). We are so happy that we stumbled upon the A1 as our first film camera! ---Lou

You should really get some rolls Fuji Natura. It’s only available from Japan but you can buy it on eBay from the UK for like 10€ a roll. It’s a super fine grain lowlight film with an ASA of 1600 for natural light and 1000 for artificial. In my opinion it has the nicest colors of all the Fuji negativ films.

I like Wes Anderson a lot, on youtube we kind of try and do our own thing stylistically but we are big fans of lots of channels like Yes Theory, SV Delos, Cam and Nina, Fran Meneses, Ed Pavez, Anastesia (Emy) and a bunch more! ---Lou
Awesome video! I was wondering though, do you guys have a favorite film to shoot? i just started shooting film and i'm about halfway through a roll of superia 400 and i have a roll of potra 160 waiting. I was just curious as to what film you guys would recomend and what you like about it
Hi Josh, I don't think we really have a true favorite since we haven't shot that much but we've favored the portra for a while though the price just went up around us which is why we tried out these few rolls so we shall see how they turn out! ---Lou
Usually just the mic on the camera (5d3) but sometimes when we're doing things properly a sennheiser mke 600, but I'm not sure we really used it for any of the shots in this video, I also add in a ton of background audio tracks from a 500gb library I have! ---Lou

I'm sure Dana will bring a nice big bag of stuff just in case, but we shall see, right now we are a little overwhelmed with how much stuff we've accumulated in Berlin and what we are going to sell/donated to fit it all into our tiny van, theres so much you think you need but dont actually use that much so it will probably take us a week of sorting to really figure out the essentials. If it wasn't for the camera gear we would be in better shape but it all just adds up slowly, a charger here, some batteries there, lens hoods, and then all of a sudden its a huge bag, but theres still time to figure it out! ---Lou

You should really get some rolls Fuji Natura. It’s only available from Japan but you can buy it on eBay from the UK for like 10€ a roll. It’s a super fine grain lowlight film with an ASA of 1600 for natural light and 1000 for artificial. In my opinion it has the nicest colors of all the Fuji negativ films.

I like Wes Anderson a lot, on youtube we kind of try and do our own thing stylistically but we are big fans of lots of channels like Yes Theory, SV Delos, Cam and Nina, Fran Meneses, Ed Pavez, Anastesia (Emy) and a bunch more! ---Lou
Awesome video! I was wondering though, do you guys have a favorite film to shoot? i just started shooting film and i'm about halfway through a roll of superia 400 and i have a roll of potra 160 waiting. I was just curious as to what film you guys would recomend and what you like about it
Hi Josh, I don't think we really have a true favorite since we haven't shot that much but we've favored the portra for a while though the price just went up around us which is why we tried out these few rolls so we shall see how they turn out! ---Lou
Do you have your own x-ray machine Dana. Even if you do i would recommend visiting a hospital just to make sure.

Usually just the mic on the camera (5d3) but sometimes when we're doing things properly a sennheiser mke 600, but I'm not sure we really used it for any of the shots in this video, I also add in a ton of background audio tracks from a 500gb library I have! ---Lou

Thanks so much! I've actually never taken any classes about editing or filming or any of that stuff at all, its all completely self taught, basically just watching hundreds of hours of tutorials on line for the technical stuff and then thousands of hours trying to learn and make my own style. I'd love to do a video about it at sometime, I think you're the first person who has actually asked, but maybe there's more people wondering! ---Lou

Hahaha, thanks Keala! Chap stick certainly helps a lot in the cold! I'm sure Dana will bring a nice big bag of stuff just in case, but we shall see, right now we are a little overwhelmed with how much stuff we've accumulated in Berlin and what we are going to sell/donated to fit it all into our tiny van, theres so much you think you need but dont actually use that much so it will probably take us a week of sorting to really figure out the essentials. If it wasn't for the camera gear we would be in better shape but it all just adds up slowly, a charger here, some batteries there, lens hoods, and then all of a sudden its a huge bag, but theres still time to figure it out! ---Lou

It's not real fur - its made out of polyester and it was a hand me down gift from Lou's cousin. I mention it in our first video in this series. - Dana

So glad you commented so we can put a face to the online name, it really was such a pleasure meeting you we were both giggling and beaming the whole day afterwards : ) We filmed so so much stuff after meeting you so I'm really excited to see what you think, we even did a whole story about these guys that built an app for mushroom hunting which has been downloaded 200k times in the last few months.
