That’s what I use mine for and it is awesome. Honestly though looking back you can get an excavator cheaper and I think it might be more useful around the house, especially if you get a hydraulic thumb for it. Either of them are awesome to have around the house though I think.
I’ve got the HY380 wheel machine and I removed my hood also. I’m at the point I’m ready to replace my motor bc of charging issues. I added 4 67lb suitcase weights and it made a huge difference.
Does your oil temperature gauge light blink even though it doesn't work when on? You should have installed the battery behind the engine after going all that trouble to replace it. It would have moved 30 lb 2 ft to the rear down low and allowed you to charge or change it easy. Would have had kept the rear door for that though.
There's nowhere to put the battery back there. That space isn't flat and its where my fuel pump is mounted and it would be in the way of the radiator. I would also have had to get new battery cables. The light doesn't blink, it just stays on all the time. I use a digital laser thermometer to check the operating temp and I've not had a problem so far.
@@lurtbike Honestly, I do landscaping professionally and I'm considering one of these things lol. This thing would pay itself off in one job, and as long as it survived two jobs it's pure profit. I love Bobcats but it's getting expensive to run them at $350/day + 13% sales tax or $50,000 to buy, I'd rather get one of these for $4,000, make the necessary modifications and call it a day.
@@kylequinn1963exactly. They aren’t perfect but at 1/10th of the price they’re basically disposable. And you can buy a predator motor off the shelf with a 2 year warranty and slap it in. The rest is basic hydraulic stuff that is pretty simple. Like I said in the video, if you know how to work on stuff and you go into it knowing it will need some things you can probably save a lot of money.
Thanks for posting. I was interested in getting one for light work around the house. Moving rocks etc.

Yeah a predator motor is the way to go. I bought the extended warranty. I bet the weights help. I need to figure out how to mount some on mine.
Thanks for the videos. Have you tried running a brush hog with that two stage pump? Just wondering how it did if you have.
No I haven’t. From what I understand it won’t go well because they aren’t hi flow pumps and you won’t be able to move and brush hog at the same time.

Sorry but no bueno!
Si bueno if you need a machine that can pay for itself in about 3 projects!

Heyy bro how much was the new motor?
@@GAMERBROTHER98 $1300 with the 2 year extended warranty from Harbor Freight. Also had to buy a $20 sleeve off eBay.
