You know, thanks for sharing this mod because frankly I don't think anyone would attempt it and certainly no one would film it. You've taken the time to provide the radio world with a really useful and convenient mod on a 50 year old Hammarlund and you should be commended. Thanks again.
I later tried this mod on a Hammarlund HQ-100 where there is limited space as shown in the video. There were no problems found. The space is more limited so the bracket has to be smaller. It should work just fine on a HQ-110 also. I like it. It is a good improvement to the radio.
