I'm so glad I came up on your channel I'm just getting into this and loved your video. I found this rendering video interesting and I can't wait to do this you said to do.
Thanks for doing this instructional video. I will definately try this. I have so many extras from when I first started i will recycle my drills. Pictures to come when I start.
You can use any printer, ink jet, laser, etc. When I did my first few, I had an HP ink jet, but it ran out of ink really fast. I have since gotten an Epson ecotank printer where I can print as much as I want without worrying about ink...I now have the problem of running out of paper lol.
Hi Trisha, brilliant tutorial one question can you tell me what did you have your grid set at as it's a tight squeeze with the 2.8mm drills my size was 50x40cm after printing I see the drills were over lapping.many that's
At 24:02, it shows you where I set the stitch cell (4.0mm). I'm using rounds on this particular custom, but for squares you would use 3.0mm. Hope that helps.
Sorry about all the questions I got 8 pages .which I'm happy about as I dont want too many pages as you say it's way too big. I've just placed a drill on at its slightly too small .as I'm looking for it to sit perfect without a squeeze. So what would you say do it in inches or cm at what size. Did your drill fit ok when you did yours mines 2.8mm.. thankyou for your help ..
No problem with the questions. I redid the rendering after the first video because that was way too many pages. I did an updated video on how to get the right size when rendering. Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/PrSZNroxPeQ/v-deo.html
I have three photos I'm going to make custom diamond paintings from. The largest will be 736 X 981 but how do I tell how much larger to buy the canvas for framing?
What's the best software to use for custom diamond painting. I used art stitch easy and I previewed the painting before printing, and after completing the picture, one of the faces looks too clumped up with the same colour. I was sent a screen grab of a picture. Any ideas as I wanted the faces to have better detail.
Would it be worth doing a practice run or two first? also it better to turn the background show off I THINK it might be a good video, but you need to do a fun run first - I got as far as the "your sisters calling at you " screaming at us & I gave up
That's an idea and thanks for sharing. I'm thinking though that I don't really have a way for it to be printed out by someone else and it's printed in the right size so that the grid still fit the drills. You can't just print a file from a different source without knowing the exact measurements to do it in when different machines/devices have different settings and expect it to be correct. I've heard of that happening when someone tried the very thing you're suggesting. Thanks again for the suggestion, but it's not that cut and dry with something like this. Tfw. 😉😉
Hello Ronnald. It may depend on what OS you're using. As far as error messages, that may be the case too with the version you were able to download. Sorry, but I don't know the specifics of the software as far as what is required to use it. Try googling your issues to find answers. Do hope you have luck with that and able to use it.
I have it installed on my Windows laptop and PC, but I don't know the specifications if your trying to use it on an iPad, tablet or other device. I'm sorry, but I just know how to use the software, not trouble shoot it as I've had no issues with it as far as installation.
Learned from Nikki Rebel in a DP group that it's easier to leave the size set to "stitch" and divide your image measured in cm by .25 because that'sthe size of round drills. For example a 30x40cm size would be set at 120 for width and 160 for height. Hope that helps.
You can try Google for another link, but I just tried the one I provided and it worked for me; I'm using Mozilla Foxfire. It may be the browser that you're using.

You're welcome.
WOW! I may try this one day...lol Tfs
My daughter and I found a kit on Temu for all 447 DMC colors for around 20.00
Nice, but I'm pretty sure I will need more than what they may be offering for each color. Tfw.
Thank you so so much for showing us this program!
Do you know what printer I can use to print these patterns?

Here's a link from my craft channel about my printer if you care to check it out. Thanks for watching.

Thankyou for that x
Roughly how many pages did you have ... as you did it on inches or did you redo it on cm at 24.02? Thankyou Trisha

You might want to change those numbers in cm or inches and watch the updated video for sizing because that's going to be HUGE!

Is it possible to create this and then remove the photo to create a mystery diamond painting??
Yes, I actually show that 19:48.

Did you ever think of updating this and showing any other tricks and tips you learned to make this more efficient and easier to use.???
Hi can I ask you something?
Sure.
I try to get it but I didn’t know i need a business i m retired and i like to do diamond dots for me maybe. I like to sell it some. Ty
You can take it to a print shop and have them print it on poster board.
