@@Merdian1988 may be thats your perception but i know many of my friends who are already on band 8 position in 5 years of time. I myself equivalent to a band 8 position in one of the private hospitals and i have been here only for last 6 years.
Thats your own perspectives Broh. I know there are several peoples who are working on band 7,8 at NHS. Moreover communication skills are main factor due to doing this work but the high potential is more imporatant than the communication skill.

But no offence, in the US you hardly have any maternity leave or the amount of sick leave or annual leave you get in the UK or some of the other European countries.
Money is not everything in life, emotional well being and good culture is also important particularly for the children. Also the money you earn should be compared with the cost of living which is significantly higher

I have 20 yrs us experience and I am not getting that much

I have 11 years of experience as a nurse out of that 3 years in nhs. But chance of career progression is low in my trust
