HPI actually lists the Maverick as discontinued on their website. Seems like they pulled it from the market pretty quickly, and I don't blame them. Honestly there are better options from HPI anyway, including ones that made the Maverick redundant on arrival, like the Bullet MT and the Savage XS (yes, I know the Savage XS is technically a "mini", but size-wise it matches up with 1/12th and even 1/10th scale models).
Wow, I did now know it had been continued. I do hope the people who were unlucky enough to get one can still get parts! Thank you for stopping by and commenting
The MT10's sure ate up the Flux. Good tip on the breaks. Great video.. With the stock setting on the brakes the MT10 can do some awesome front flips but it's more drivable when you dial them back. Very nice job on the video. Lot's of great action.
I have a Rival MT10 V2 as well and its insane. Ive broken nothing. The only thing that played up was the stock transmitter as the neutral point kept moving. Id accelerate and let off and sometimes I had drag brakes and other times it would coast as it should. This meant reverse was difficult to get. Just put a spectrum receiver in and bound it to my DXpro and its all good. Best basher out their in my opinion.
It does, doesn't it, that's why we chose to check it out. Our next mission is to find cheap alternatives (if that's possible) Thanks for stopping by Michael
@@The_RC_Family it will be interesting to see future videos. In the states one of the trucks that is often compared to the MT!0 is on sale. That's the Arrma Granite BLX.
You know at this point I think we would be reluctant to purchase the Quantum MT to do a comparison after experiencing the Quantum Flux. I am not ruling it out tho Luke thank you for stopping by
@@chrisvda7277 yes definitely unfortunately sometimes people want the cheaper option, so would be good to know which is better between that and the Maverick Quantum
Would love you see an SC10 pro4 review. Excellent 👍
We'd love to do one! Funds are very short here right now though but watch this space! ;) Thank you for watching and commenting!

Maverick quantum2 has replaced it, they look to have addressed the issues but its only been out for a short time so time will tell.
Very interesting, thank you for the information@@shinks268

It's hard to beat, isn't it. This, imo is the one to measure others against.
I enjoyed the video. The MT10 has consistently excellent reviews. You two seem to have lots of fun.

@@michaeldorich4485 Oh, it is?
@@michaeldorich4485 Thank you for the info Michael I will keep this in mind when making our comparison purchase!
@@The_RC_Family I have one more suggestion and that is the HBX 2996a. It is very cheap and I just saw a test and it survived very well.
Get a decent radio and you can adjust the brakes to how you want. GT3B, or RC4GS...
I love the rival so much I have 3 of them.
I have to have one at some point. It's been out for ages and I am sure there is nothing as good yet!
It would be good to see the FTX Ramraider VS the Maverick Quantum MT

@@The_RC_Family yeah maybe just the one you have as it's still the same platform, the Ramraider shocks definitely look better
@Luke-en2tk I have a Ramraider and wish I choose the MT10.
