My friend saw a millipede and was gonna kill it bc he thought it was a small snake lol but I stopped him and now I have a scarlet millipede

I had native plants with a native north American species. They didn't eat my plants. I had a Fern and Pachysandra

I recently got two millipedes from an impulse buy and I'm finding it to be very difficult to find a proper substrate from them. From what I have heard, your product has a really strong smell and contains coco fibre, which will cause impaction to millipedes as they cannot digest it, so I am skeptical about purchasing it.
I am gonna get a bumble bee and a smoaky oak but off of Amazon bc I’ve never been to a place that has them so yea the smoaky oak isn’t in stock but bumble bee and I think Scarlett are in stock so if u don’t know where to get t;hen Amazon is here
A couple questions- How many plants should a 20 gal Long dart frog tank have, im afraid of over planting or under planting. Also do you recommend pillow moss or spag moss for dart frogs? Finally, I live in Chicago and want to order plants; would they arrive in healthy condition with the mild temps?
a little late but i say if you’re able to provide a good environment for the plants you should underplant rather than over. i’d say 2-3 large leaf plants and 2-3 small leaf plants for texture combinations, and then letting the plants fill in all the extra space
i have a millipede idk what its called but the color is black and has yellow things in his/her back
I found a tiny millipede in my bathtub and I can’t bring it outside it will die 😭 I need help idk what I’m doing or what kind of millipede it is. Any tips will help. I put it into a small enclosure I had for my baby jumpers it’s about 4inches by 4inches and I put about an inch of substrate. I also put some small rocks and a plastic plant inside. I put some dead fruit flies and strawberries as well. PLEASE HELP I WANT THE BB TO LIVE LOL side note I named it Dickweed the millipede

It definitely is possible with great success, yes! Millipedes are generally pretty non aggressive and will generally only eat animal matter if it's already dead.

I’m just getting into the hobby
Ive had a couple millie tanks for a bit over a year now. Lately im seeing what Im told are wood mites in the subrate. Can these cause my millies any harm? They seem to only be interested in the substrate.
I've heard they help keep the millipede clean. Not sure though

Probably not
Some larger dart frogs they are. And the mourning gecko is okay.
Not particularly, but may e with larger frogs.
is there any sort of light I can use on the enclosure that wont bother the millipedes or they cant see? I like to see them chill but its hard to see when everything is dark.

I used a small BEYBLADE box I ordered and made it an enclosure but then I went on this and see how to tame milipedea

So long as they are species with similar humidity requirements multiple species can thrive in the same enclosure! Centipedes are the angry legs, millipedes are kinda just bumbly and shy.
